Welcome! In front of me is a Motorola Moto G53 and today I'll show you how you can enable and set up your Do Not Disturb mode

So to get started, let's pull down our notifications and then extend the list and on one of the pages

you should see a Do Not Disturb toggle. Now either I can't find it or it's not added by default. So if that is the case I'm just going to tap on this pencil right here

This will show me toggles that are turned off or just not accessible by default

And we can hopefully find our Do Not Disturb mode here. It was on the first page, I just couldn't see it

So it's right over here. I'm not sure how I missed that. But anyway, as you can see it's right over here so let's hold it

And once you hold it, it takes you to the settings. So in here you can quickly customize it

Now I'm going to touch upon just a couple options right here that I consider to be important

You can obviously go over all of them and change them to fit your needs. But I'm just going to touch upon, like I said, the couple that I think will matter to the majority of the people

So number one would be people, which allows you to select who can call you and message you

And going back, we have schedule. So obviously here you can set up a custom schedule

This will then turn on and off your Do Not Disturb mode at a provided day of the week and the time

Now if you're planning to use a schedule, just make sure that you toggle it on in here like this

And the last option would be the duration for quick settings. Now I recommend changing this for everyone who tends to forget to turn off some of the options in their phone once you enable them

And you know you want to turn them off but you just kind of forget about it. Then I recommend selecting it to be a time specific one

And select it to be, I don't know, maybe three, four hours, depending on what you think you will need

And when you confirm this, whenever you tap on the toggle manually, this will run Do Not Disturb mode for that said specific amount of hours that we have chosen

Otherwise, if you just go with the default option, once you turn it on, it will be running indefinitely until you actually turn it off

So like I said, if you forget about this, then it's just kind of on until you remember that it's on

Now anyway, you can close this and whenever you want to use your Do Not Disturb mode, simply find the toggle, tap on it, this will enable it

Now I have it time specific so it also shows me till when it's going to be running so it automatically will turn off at 9.25

I can also turn it off earlier myself by just tapping on the toggle like this

And obviously for everybody else who is using this on a schedule basis, you don't really need to do anything extra
