My name is Alcatel U5 HD and today I'll show you how to copy your photos, videos or any
0:13
kind of other file from, for instance, your phone to an SD card or the other way around
0:18
Now starting off, we'll want to find our files app, which for me is right over here
0:24
So let's tap on it. It needs access to files, obviously, let's tap on allow
0:34
So at the bottom you should see our two storages, the phone and SD card
0:37
So let's start off with the phone storage, which is the first one
0:42
Once you tap on either one of them, you should see fairly similar folder structures
0:48
In the SD card we have the same folders, just way less of them
0:52
Well here we have basically all the folders. So there's only couple folders that are worth mentioning, which will contain specific files
1:05
which are always the same for basically every phone. So the DCIM folder will contain pictures and videos captured with the device itself
1:14
Downloads folder will contain, well, obviously anything that I have downloaded. And then when you go to the bottom, you have pictures folder, which will contain most of
1:21
the time screenshots. And that's about all that is worth mentioning here in terms of where the phone saves specific
1:30
types of files. So I'm going to start off by going to DCIM and realizing that my photos aren't actually
1:36
in here, so it means that they got saved to an SD card. There we go
1:45
So there are the files that I will use as an example
1:49
So now that I have found them, what you want to do is to select them, and you do so by
1:53
simply holding it. As you can see, once you hold it, it then checks it like this, and you can tap on additional
1:58
ones to check more. Now once you have selected every file that you want, I'm going to press on the three
2:03
dots right here and choose one of the two options. You can either copy it or cut it
2:10
Now if you choose to cut it, they will be removed from where they are right now and move to a new location, while copy will just make duplicates of them and then do basically
2:18
the same thing as cut. So I'm going to go with the cut option, and from here as you can see you have a little
2:25
clipboard icon, which is an option to paste. Now before we actually tap on the paste, you do want to navigate to a location where you
2:31
want to move those files. So I'm going to back out to the main page right here, and let's go into the internal
2:37
storage right here. And I could go into the DCIM to keep it organized, but you know what, I'm just not going to bother
2:43
So from here, once I'm located in the folder that I want to drop those files into, I'm
2:47
just going to click on the icon and voila, paste it. And you can see them right now at the bottom
2:53
Now if we go back to the SD card, those files will no longer be present here as you can see
3:00
So that being said, this is basically how you remove any kind of file from one location to another
3:04
And if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks
