Welcome! At the moment it's an Arcus Oxygen 57 and today I'll show you how to
0:09
transfer photos, videos or any kind of file from the device to SD card and vice
0:15
versa. So to get started you want to open up a file manager. So let's just pull up
0:20
the apps and I believe it's this one right here. Let's see if there is one without actual ads because it seems a little bit
0:35
sketchy. There it is right next to it so files. Okay I just agree and scroll down
0:51
you should see... let's go back... There we go. You should see both of your storage devices right here so the SD
1:03
card and the phone storage. Now if you don't see anything here you can just go
1:08
back up where the three dots are and for the option where I have hide storage
1:13
devices you should see show storage devices so you can just check that on
1:17
and then you should see the storages right here. So from here you can go to
1:22
each of one of them by tapping on it and if you're trying to copy photos or
1:28
videos any kind of like file like that and you didn't have previously a SD card
1:33
inserted they are most certainly on the phone. So from here you will have for the
1:39
photos and videos you will have the DCIM folder right here that's where your
1:44
camera saves all the photos and videos. If you have taken a screenshot it will
1:48
be on the pictures and if you have downloaded something from the Chrome
1:52
pictures or files anything it should usually be in the downloads folder
1:57
Basically everything else is normally placed there by someone so if you
2:05
have put music into music folder then you probably know where to find it
2:11
So from here see if there's any photos right here, camera... it seems like there's
2:16
nothing so let me just take a quick shot so we have something to actually
2:20
transfer. Okay there we go there's a shot and we can now go back oops to the app
2:29
itself like so and now there is one photo as you can see. So if you want to
2:38
move the photo or video like I said or any other file all you do is just hold
2:42
it and it becomes blue and it has a checkmark and you have multiple files
2:47
once you hold one and get selected and you can tap on the rest to basically
2:51
check it on just by simply tapping on it. Now if you want to move the entire
2:57
folder or multiple way more photos than you feel like selecting you can actually
3:02
go back and we have the folder itself the camera for instance and just select
3:06
the entire folder itself and you don't need to actually select each individual file and from here tap on the drop-down menu and you have two options copy or
3:15
move. Now which one you choose has a different effect in a way so if you
3:19
choose to move you will basically remove it from the phone itself and move it to
3:23
for instance the SD card but if you choose to copy one photo will stay here
3:28
while there will be another one created on the SD card. So for this purpose I'm
3:32
just gonna use move and it gives you the drop-down so where you want to move it
3:37
and considering we want to move it out of the phone to the SD card so we're gonna choose the SD card itself and it gives you all the content of the SD card
3:46
you can tap here to add a new folder if you wish to keep it more organized so
3:49
don't allow and can name it the same thing as where it originated from so DCIM
3:59
move to folder and now it's a little bit more organized in a folder called DCIM
4:05
where the folder and picture originated from on the storage device. Now if you also change in the settings that you want the phone to save to the SD
4:17
card it won't need to create the folder anymore it will be already created DCIM
4:22
and it will save it automatically more photos to here. But yeah that is basically
4:27
how you remove files and if you found this video helpful don't forget to hit
