Welcome. In front of me is a T-Mobile Revil 6 and today I'll show you how you can boot this phone into safe mode

So to get started let's pull down our notifications, extend the list and in here you'll find the power button

Click on it and once you see your boot options you want to hold power off

This will then bring up a window reboot to safe mode. If you want to reboot into safe mode this will disable all third party applications you have installed

They will be restored when you reboot again. So let's click on OK. And while it's rebooting I'm going to just quickly go into what this actually means

So starting off the safe mode is usually used to troubleshoot your device

So if you have some kind of problem with your phone that isn't in any way associated with the phone being damaged

but more maybe you installed some kind of virus or something like this you can boot it into safe mode and from there you can peruse your phone without much problem

Because anything that you have put on the device yourself will be now turned off

and even some of the things that the device comes with like widgets are disabled in this mode

And only the pre-installed applications will be usable from here. So if you installed some kind of virus application you can now just navigate into settings as an example

and navigate to apps and from here find the app, get rid of it and problem solved

If you couldn't do that before obviously. Now once you're done with this mode and you want to go back to normal one

so you can use all your installed applications just navigate back to your power button right here and select restart
