Here I have Coolpad Portal and let me show you how to enable backup option on the following device

So at the very beginning let's start by using your home screen. Here you have to find your settings icon

Let's scroll down and let's choose the backup and reset. It's located under personal tab

Now you have to enable backup my data feature by using that switcher right here

So afterwards you need to set the backup account. Let's tap on backup account

If you have added some google accounts you can use them, if not let's choose add account

As you can see I've got my wifi switched on. And here you can add your google account in two ways

You can create a new account by using that blue link or you may use the existing google account

So let's enter the email of your google account. That's right choose next
