Welcome, my name is Umidigi One Pro and today I'll show you how to go through the setup
0:09
process of the device. So when you boot up the phone for the first time you'll be presented with a welcome screen
0:15
where first thing you get to do is choose the language. So I'm gonna select English, which conveniently is at the top, but if your language isn't
0:23
at the top you can just scroll through the entire list and find it somewhere down here
0:29
So once you have selected it, just tap on start and then you have Wi-Fi connection
0:34
This is optional, you can connect to Wi-Fi or not. I'm just gonna choose to skip it, it will speed up the process a little bit and you
0:42
can just connect to it later on. Then you have setting a date and time
0:46
Now if you connect to Wi-Fi or put in a SIM card this will be set automatically so you
0:50
won't have to really bother with it. So I'm just gonna skip this for now
0:55
Then you have the name, you can put in your name or any kind of name, whatever you like
1:01
and this will basically become the device's name. And if you leave it empty it will just take the name of the device itself so it will be
1:09
called UMIDIGI One Pro and that's for instance how it's gonna appear in Bluetooth devices
1:15
or in hotspot tethering. Tap on next. Then you have unlock with fingerprint so you can set up a fingerprint
1:23
If you go to next you will see a couple of options so you have the fingerprint plus pattern
1:28
plus pin or password. Now you have to have one of these three methods, either pin, password or pattern if you want
1:37
to have a fingerprint. So I'm just gonna go with pattern and I will have to draw the pattern that I wish to use
1:43
Tap on next and repeat the same pattern once more to confirm it and then I will be able
1:48
to start scanning my finger on the power key. So let's just grab the phone and you want to just tap your finger on it so it reads it
2:00
Now you want to get a good read of your entire finger, basically however you would press
2:04
it so whenever you press it in some kind of weird way it will read it but I just did it
2:10
to get it over quick. From here you can also add another one if you wish to, that could be another finger
2:16
or the same finger once more. I'm just gonna keep one and tap on next
2:23
And from here you have Google services so you have localization and some other stuff
2:28
You can extend it by tapping on an arrow and reading it if you want it on or off
2:34
Localization and stuff like that you can for instance disable and you can enable it at any time later on once the device is set up
2:41
And some apps will be cranky enough that they will want your localization even though there
2:46
is no reason for them and won't work without it so keep that in mind
2:50
Those will be basically popups that will re-enable the localization if you want to keep it off
2:55
So here just tap on I agree and then anything else, not really so no thanks and we're basically
3:02
done with the setup. There we go. So that is how you would set up the device and if you found this very helpful don't forget
3:09
to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
