Welcome, and follow me as a TCL 306 and today I'll show you how you can apply tempered glass to this phone
0:15
Now you can probably see that for me the tempered glass I will be using is for a different phone but that does not matter
0:23
You can use, I'll be using a wrong one but as you will see just in a second
0:30
because the actual size of the screen is virtually identical, this glass fits perfectly for me
0:39
So that's what I'll be using. Now apart from the temper glass that you should probably get
0:44
we also got the wet and dry wipe. So there we go
0:51
Now I'll mention one thing, let's actually test this out. I did two different tempered glasses and both
0:59
of these wipes were dry and this one is dry as well. You can see there is like no moisture
1:07
on it. You can see there is no moisture on it. So that, oh well, I opened up dry wipe so obviously
1:17
that probably would explain. This one is a little bit moist. Yep. You can kind of see it but
1:29
barely Maybe it will be better on this one You can kind of see it right now So this one is a little bit moist
1:43
Sometimes they are way more wet than this one, but still, like I said, I unpacked two different ones and they were completely dry
1:51
So that is something that you might want to keep in mind. And additionally, I personally don't like them because they leave these kind of like wet smudges which don't actually wipe normally
2:02
like normally, so it's a little bit more difficult to clean them off
2:06
So I just prefer to use my microfiber cloth, which is what I'm going to be using right now
2:12
Now, you want to clean off the display really well, get rid of any kind of grime that is on their fingerprints and stuff like that
2:18
If you have some kind of dust settle on it, don't worry about the dust after you clean the screen just yet
2:26
I do recommend keeping the microfiber cloth ready, like I have it right here
2:30
because before we apply the tempered glass, we're just going to give gentle couple passes on the display
2:36
just to get rid of that hint as like I mentioned. Now when it comes down to the tempered glass
2:42
the way I apply it is I basically pinch it from the edges
2:47
either top or bottom, it doesn't really matter. It might matter a little bit more if, for instance
2:52
you have a cutout right here for your camera, so I would then start from the top and pinch the bottom in this case
2:59
and the reason I would do so is because I can align the cutout correctly around the camera right here
3:07
and I use the bottom or technically the top right here pinching it along with the foam itself just so it evenly spaced out left and right So it kind of sits evenly placed and then I just kind of align it again the same way
3:25
At the bottom, put some pressure on it so it doesn't really move anymore, and then simply drop it on the screen
3:32
And that ensures that it applies itself really well and correctly, I would say, to the display
3:40
So it shouldn't really like deviate too much to the left or right and for instance interfere with like a case if you have one
3:50
Additionally, if you have a case on your phone you can use that as a way to guide the tempered glass into correct place
4:01
Okay, so let's get the sticker off. Now for me, I only have one
4:07
In certain cases you will have two, so you'll have number one. so you'll have number one and number two on the other side
4:12
The number two is just a protection to the glass itself. I don't have it
4:16
For me, it's already a glass right here. But certain ones have it, so you peel off the number two
4:22
Once you apply it already to the screen, and that will just reveal the site that you will actually be touching
4:26
once it's on your phone. So peel off the number one. This will reveal a sticky side right here
4:34
so be careful. Do not touch that. And right now, like I mentioned before
4:39
gear those couple gentle passes so you don't have any kind of dust and apply it
4:50
There we go. And you can see that it is right now just kind of spreading
5:02
And there we go. And it's fully on the phone
5:12
Now one thing that I will add, something that happened to me with the previous application is I had
5:20
some kind of like weird white dust particles which actually came on the tempered glass glued to it
5:27
i don't know how but it was there so if you encounter some kind of problems where you have some
5:34
kind of dirt under your tempered glass you can pull it off just gently so you don't actually
5:40
damage it or break it and then use something like a tweezer just to unstick whatever was stuck
5:47
to the glass and then we apply it it typically won't damage the glass itself and because it's already kind of not sticking all the way
5:55
because of some trash under it if you remove it hopefully it will stick even when
6:00
you kind of like scratch up the tempered glass sticky side so that is a thing that
6:07
I can try to do if for some reason you cut some dirt under your tempered glass
6:13
anyway matter of so we could apply tempered glass for this phone and if you
