And following is a Motorola Moto G8 Plus and today I'll show you how to perform a

hard reset of the device through the recovery mode and also remove a screen

lock on top of that. So to get started I'm actually gonna start off by locking

the device so you can see that the device has a pattern right here so I'm

gonna we're gonna proceed from here as though I don't know the pattern to it. So

number one you want to shut off the device so hold the power key and select power off. Now once the device shuts off you then want to hold power key and

volume down both of those keys at the same time. And from here you will use

volume down to navigate so we are looking for recovery mode like so so

and see the recovery mode right here. I want to scroll down through all the modes till you find it like so and then press power key to confirm it. Give it a

moment for it to boot into the recovery. Now before we actually enter recovery mode you will see this so Android with

no command and to get past this hold power key and press volume up like so

and we're now in the recovery mode. Now in this mode you will use volume keys

both of them to navigate so volume down goes down, volume up goes up and you want

to select wipe data factory reset and once it's selected with a blue line

press power key and then once more select yes or a key to confirm it and

here it gives you additional options so you want to use user data only, user data

and personal content so I'm gonna select the last one so this will basically

erase everything and let's press power key once more give it a moment for it to
