reset this phone through recovery mode. So before I get started I'm going to quickly mention that this process

also allows you to get rid of a screen lock so if you have one set that you

just don't remember this will remove it. Now I don't have any

screen lock set but I will just progress from the lock screen as though I wouldn't know the pin pattern password that is in the event

set. So to get started all you need to do is hold your power button and select power off. When the device

turns off hold the power button along with volume up at the same time

After a moment once the ZTE logo shows up on the screen which should be

any moment now. There we go. After a couple seconds of seeing the logo

let go of the power button but keep holding volume up. Now for some reason the device is booting into the typical Android so I'm

going to try it again and just hold the power button a little bit longer

So again power button and volume up. There's the ZTE logo

And there we go. So this time around it booted up no

problem. So from here using your volume buttons to navigate you want to select wipe data factory reset

Confirm it using your power button and select factory data reset. Again confirm it and at the bottom you'll see formatting data

and then data wipe complete should be the next or last entry

There we go. At which point reboot system now will be selected by default

So press the power button once again to initiate that reboot and this will continue the resetting of the device in the background so it will
