Welcome! And follow me as I Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 and today I'll show you
0:05
how you can put this phone into safe mode. So to get started you will need to access the boot menu, which you do by
0:18
holding power key and volume down, or pulling down your notifications twice, so
0:23
you get this extended list, and you have a power button right here. From here hold
0:29
power off. This will then change into safe mode, so tap again to restart your
0:36
phone in safe mode. Downloaded apps will be temporarily disabled to help you
0:40
troubleshoot your phone. So I just tap on it and this will obviously, like the
0:45
message stated, reboot the device. Now in this mode, like also the message stated
0:50
all the downloaded apps will be temporarily turned off so you can troubleshoot your phone. If you have some kind of problem where the system isn't
0:58
necessarily working as it's supposed to be, I mean system as an Android, you can
1:01
hopefully boot it into safe mode and resolve your problem in there, because
1:05
if some kind of app is maybe causing you problems that app shall not be able to
1:09
run in safe mode. Now once the device boots up you can see that we have the
1:17
safe mode watermarking right here. Now I shouldn't have any kind of apps that
1:27
that don't really work right here, but it looks like widgets are also part of the
1:31
apps that are turned off. So these are the default apps but they still don't
1:35
work here. And it looks like, ironically, even the Galaxy browser, or however it's
1:43
called, does not work here, which is a little bit surprising to be honest. So
1:49
this is a default application from Samsung, but it won't work. Obviously if
1:54
you have more apps on your home screen you will see that probably in your case there is way more greyout applications that will not work. And if you try to
2:01
open them up it shows you this message. Now once you're done with the safe mode
2:06
you can go back to the normal one by again accessing the power menu right
2:11
here and selecting restart. This will reboot the device and when it boots
2:16
up again it will be in normal mode. So with that being said if you found this
