In front of me is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and today I will show you how you can record
0:15
screen on this device. So to get started, pull on your notification panel, expand it and look for the toggle which
0:22
for me is right here in the bottom left corner. This is the default orientation of the toggle so hopefully for you it's in the same place
0:30
Once you find it, you can either tap on it to immediately start recording or you can hold the toggle just so you can view the settings for recording
0:37
So below here we have things like sounds and by default sets to media sounds only
0:42
We have video quality which is 1080p. Again this is the default. This is the default
0:46
Well, everything here is the default. So you can customize it to your liking but to be completely honest, the only thing that
0:54
you will need to customize is most likely the selfie size of the camera if you're planning
1:01
to use that. So yeah, just select the size and that's it
1:06
The selfie size or selfie itself can be toggled on and off during the recording so if you
1:10
want to use it, you can just tap on it and it will add it to the recording during the recording
1:16
And another option is right here. They show taps and touches which you can toggle on and off
1:21
It will show where you are pressing the screen with your finger or your pen
1:25
And last thing is the video quality which I recommend keeping as it is because it is
1:31
the highest one that is right here and anything lower might look a little bit worse
1:36
Additionally, once you tap on the toggle from here, it gives a couple of the options right
1:42
here so as you can see we have sound settings and also option to record the tops which you
1:46
can toggle on. And last thing that I will mention, for recording media sounds and mic, if you're planning to
1:52
use that, do also use headphones for this because if you don't, microphone will be picking
1:57
up whatever the noise is made by the speakers and create an unwanted echo effect
2:02
So that's why you should use headphones for this. From here we can select start recording
2:07
It will give us a countdown which we can also skip which then obviously goes straight to recording
2:13
As you can see under my pen, I selected the show tops and touches which shows the semi
2:17
transparent grey under the pen tip. And going into the couple of options that you can find right here, we have a pen which
2:25
allows you to write on the screen during the recording. We can enable whatever the heck that is
2:33
Oh, it's a pointer apparently. Which I guess that might be a little bit more useful if you didn't enable the show tops
2:44
and touches. Last thing we have here is obviously the selfie. As you can see, recording can move it around if you want to
2:54
And we have pause button. You can pause the recording at any point which is a good option to have
3:01
For instance, when you're trying to log in somewhere, you can pause the video, log in
3:04
and then press on the red circle again to resume the recording which will completely
3:09
skip the part where you were logging in. And it won't be visible in the recording at all
3:15
And last things last is the square to start the recording which automatically gets saved
3:19
to your photo gallery. You can open that up and in here, we can tap on the three bars right here
3:27
Navigate to albums. And in here you'll find your screen recordings. There we go, there's one recording
3:36
And it's automatically playing. So, anyway, that is how you record your screen on this phone
3:46
Or phone, not tablet. And if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
