This is Poco F5 Pro and today I would like to show how you can set up parental controls on this device
0:11
So firstly you will need to launch settings, then enter the accounts and sync category and get rid of all the Google accounts you have, if you have any to begin with
0:22
So remove them, then get back to the main settings menu, enter Google category, tap at the parental controls, get started, child or teenager, next
0:38
Now you gotta sign in to your child's Google account, so let me quickly do that
0:52
Once the child's Google account was successfully signed in to, you will need to select it from the list over here, and then enter credentials for another Google account, this time belonging to you as a parent, or to put it simply, for a login to Google account you are going to use to supervise your child's activity
1:21
If that's any simpler of course. After you do that, you will be forwarded to the about supervision page, and over here you will need to input the child's Google account password one more time
1:42
Then hit the agree button, at the following dialog window go for the allow, and wait for the parent and child accounts to get linked
1:53
Then hit the next button, over here you can manage the child apps, or the following page allows you to manage filters and settings
2:03
Then from here, if the device that is highlighted over here in the bold font is the same phone or tablet you are going to use to supervise your child, you can tap at the install family link button, and the needed app will be created
2:17
If that's not true, or you just want to take manual route, you can tap skip, finalize the setup over here, and manually download the family link app from the Google Play Store on your parental phone
2:32
In my case that is exactly, or rather precisely the phone I was planning to use to supervise my child's activity, so I will be using the family link app
2:40
So well, here it is, at the child's end everything was finished, now let's wait for the app to be downloaded, then launch it, make sure to sign in with the parental Google account
2:50
And next, in the app itself you have an access to a bunch of controls, such as setting up the daily device usage limits, or downtime routine, managing and tailoring your child's app activity and experience, you can enable, disable, restrict, allow, all the apps that your child has installed on their phone, as well as monitor their activity
3:10
You can apply content restrictions and install age filters, you can configure your child's account settings, manage devices, monitor your child's location, and see the child's device usage highlights
3:34
Alrighty, so that would be it for this video, thanks for watching and bye bye
