Welcome and follow me is a OnePlus 8 Pro and today I'll show you how to add a

fingerprint to the device. So to get started let's go into the settings so

can be found right here as this gear icon so you can tap on it and from

settings go to security and lock screen and you will find fingerprint right here

Now if you have some kind of pattern added you will need to confirm it that

be either a pattern pin or password and can be one of those three. As you can see

moment. There we go. So if you don't have any other protection on your device or

any at all you will basically tap on add fingerprint and it will prompt you to

choose a other unlocking method apart from the fingerprint so you'll have a

choice between pin pattern or password but by default it opts into pin so

four-digit pin but in a Bluetooth you can change to other method and choose

one that for instance you have then you have pattern or password depending on

which one you want and once you set that up you will then be able to add a fingerprint so here all you need to do is just start scanning your finger now
