Welcome and follow me as an A57S and today I'll show you how you can apply tempered glass
0:12
to this phone so I'm just gonna quickly check yep this fits what a surprise so I'll be using a tempered glass for Samsung but because all these devices
0:24
meaning these kind of like budget mid-range trash phones that that are basically carbon
0:29
copy of one another are using also the same kind of display size which is six and a half
0:34
which allows me to basically get away with using the same kind of tempered glass for basically
0:39
all the phones appo real me vivo and all that they're all the same basically so this fits on it
0:46
without a problem and now to quickly go over the application of tempered glass I'm going to just
0:53
describe it before I actually do it so the way I will do it which you'll also see
1:00
As once I peel off this little one, which will reveal a sticky side
1:04
I'll then kind of pinch it from both sides. Start off from at an angle from the top of the phone
1:12
Now if your tempered glass has some kind of cut out for the camera
1:16
maybe hole punch, whatever it is, you want to start off by aligning that correctly
1:20
Then make sure that it is aligned correctly also on the right and left top side of the screen
1:26
from there also while continuously pinching the glass you want to now feel the bezels of the phone
1:34
which will allow you to kind of feel what the middle position is
1:41
because you can feel that the spacing from the bezel to the glass is the same from both sides
1:48
you just want to rough estimate to be close enough then start lowering it down on the bottom side
1:53
with the same kind of logic of feeling the bezel and then dropping it in the middle like so and from there just apply some
2:01
pressure to it and it should glue itself to the screen now prepping your
2:08
actual screen for the application with the tempered glass you also get one of
2:13
these garbage things which is a dry and wet pipe quite possibly your wet wipe might be dry as well depending on how long this temper glass was laying on a shelf They do evaporate after some time
2:26
And in this case, if that is the case for you, what I recommend using is a microfiber cloth
2:32
which is what I'll be using anyway, just because I feel like it's much more convenient to use this
2:37
over these pitifully tiny little wipes. Now, keep in mind this is like one of the two
2:45
cheap as temper glasses I can find. The temper glass itself is pretty good. The little wipes
2:51
here are just absolutely abominable. And in certain cases, depending on how much you fork out, I guess
2:57
some tempered glasses do come with like sticky stickers, which you can just peel off and then use to kind
3:02
of like, you know, stick to the display to get rid of dust. I'll be doing that without it
3:09
because I don't have it. Neither do my temper glass come with it. So I'll need to make sure that
3:14
all the dust is removed with my microfiber cloth. So I'll just first clean off the display
3:21
First want to get rid of obviously all the smudges, any kind of grime that is on it
3:26
and then start worrying about the dust. I think it's good enough
3:44
Okay, so now let's pop this on. There's a couple tiny little dust fibers but hopefully they won't cause any problems
3:55
So like I said, I'm going to start off from the top. Align it correctly
3:59
Go, feels good enough. Let's lower it now. Okay, and this is basically spot on
4:13
Now you can see that it's not glue. just yet so I'm going to apply some pressure. Now in this case the temper glass didn't really go
4:33
all the way all around so you just want to apply some force to it to push out the air That basically all it is
4:48
Now you might encounter some like really annoying ones like I do in this case
4:59
Let me just clean it all just so I can see it a little bit better. So in this case, as you can see, even pressing the thing, the tempered glass didn't really remove it
5:09
There is no dust under it. It's just air that is trapped
5:13
The curvature of the display or bezels somehow might be getting in a way
5:19
So in this situation, I'm just going to pry it back up
5:25
You want to do it really carefully. Let me go. So I'm just gonna try to put it in the..
5:37
There we go. Come on. I'm right now lifting it up
5:55
There we go. Damn it. Stop. coming back down there we go now you don't want to do it too abruptly this might
6:07
break the glass but the reason I am prying it back up is because I can then
6:12
gonna be hard to show it and do it so right now I can start to remove the
6:19
pressure from it while pushing it down okay so
6:31
So the air bubbles that were like right here and here are now gone
6:38
All I need to do is just fix this up, which I can do easily by just lifting up this tiny little portion while pressing right here
6:49
There we go. You can see, it's basically gone. And now same thing goes for the bottom side so I just going to repeat the process I going to try to align
7:05
Let's see if I can make the light shine correctly. Oh, there we go
7:11
Now I'm going to keep this light kind of in a way, but at least you can see this portion right here
8:02
And voila, it's now gone. Now you can still see couple little spots like right here
8:14
Just going to quickly clean it off. So you can see there is a little bit of a spot right here and here
8:21
Again, this isn't dust. This is actually pressurized air. Like when I pushed it down, I just pressurized it
8:28
There is still air trapped under it. and with this kind of thing when it looks like this
8:35
after some like, I don't know, a couple hours, it might come back as an air bubble
8:39
so you might want to repeat this kind of lift off, trying to completely get rid of it
8:44
If you see any kind of things like this, that means that there is still air trapped
8:47
Like there's one right here, some right over here, here and here
8:54
That's basically all. So you might want to repeat it until you can completely get rid of it
8:58
if you have this kind of problem. like I did. So yeah, there we go
9:05
So anyway, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe
