Welcome! I'm Flammi, the Samsung Galaxy A21s and today I'll show you how to go through
0:11
the setup process of the device. Now to get started, once you boot it up, you'll be presented
0:16
with a welcome screen, so let's tap on the arrow and select our language. I'm gonna go
0:22
with English and then tap on Next. From here we can connect to mobile network by inserting
0:27
a SIM card. I'm gonna skip this for now. And then we have some user agreements that we
0:34
need to agree to. As you can see, basically almost all of them apart from the first one
0:38
are optional, so you don't need to agree to them. If you want to, you can read the details
0:44
and then select it if you want to, but the gist of it, you need to select the first one
0:53
From here let's tap on Next and then connect to WiFi. Again, this step is optional, you can connect to it
0:58
if you don't have any WiFi that you can connect to at the moment. You can completely skip it and the only thing you will miss out at this stage is just connecting to your Google
1:06
account and having the option to restore your device from an old backup located on the Google
1:10
Cloud. Now, if you skip this, you can still do that later on after you connect to your
1:15
Google through Settings. All those options are still accessible just through Settings
1:21
I'm gonna skip it for now. And then we have Copy Apps and Data, so you can restore the
1:26
device using I assume the app of some sort that Samsung has to just transfer from an
1:34
old device. Now I'm gonna set it up as new, so I'm gonna choose Don't Copy. And then we
1:40
have Date and Time, so you can choose your date and time if it's not correct, but for
1:45
me it actually is set correctly, so I don't need to do anything. So let's tap on Next
1:50
Then we have Google Services. You can read what they do exactly. As you can see you have
1:55
the Use Location, Scanning and Send User and Diagnostic Data. I'll certainly not enter
2:01
the last one. And then Scanning and Location are things that I will use from time to time
2:08
when I need to basically connect to something or some app requires it, so I can keep it
2:14
on here. Let's go to Next and Accept at the bottom. And from here we can protect our device
2:21
so we have a couple of different ways we can do it. Either through Face Recognition, Fingerprint
2:26
Pattern, PIN or Password. Now the first two will require one of the three below that
2:34
so if you want to have either Fingerprint or Face Recognition you will still need to
2:38
set a PIN, Pattern or Password, one of them. You cannot have Fingerprint or Face Recognition
2:45
alone without any kind of physical way that it can remember to unlock the device. So I'm
2:50
going to go with just a Pattern and skip the Face Recognition along with the Fingerprint
2:57
Let's tap on Confirm and give it a moment. There we go. And now it's set. So from here
3:03
we have Get Recommended Apps. You can get them or not if you don't want it. So we have
3:09
some Voice Recognition, Samsung Internet Browser, Samsung Members and Samsung Notes. Now some
3:14
of those apps will require, I believe, their Samsung account. I believe something like
3:22
Samsung Members might require an app, or not an app, but an account from Samsung specifically
3:30
And from there we can go on and we have the ability to sign in to the Samsung account
3:36
Now this step is completely optional. Once you try to skip it, it will give you a message
3:41
that by skipping this you will lose out Samsung Cloud, Galaxy Themes, Find My Mobile and Galaxy
3:47
Store. Personally I don't care for either any of those, so I'm just going to skip it
3:53
But if you want to use one of those apps, then you can create an account and log in
3:58
or simply log in if you already have one. And past that, we're all done. Tap on Finish
4:05
And let's wait for the home screen to show up. And there we go. So if you found this

video helpful, don't forget to like, subscribe and thanks for watching
