My name is Samson Galaxy M11 and today I'll show you how to hard reset a device through

recovery mode. And this process will also remove a screen lock if you have one that you don't know

the pattern or pin password, whatever it is set to. So let's get started

Now I'm going to lock the device so you can see I do have a pattern and I'm going to proceed

from here as though I don't know it. So the trick number one is we will need to forcibly shut off the device because we can't

actually turn it off with a pattern, as you can see. So that's because, well, theoretically we don't know it

So to get started, you want to basically quickly get to the screen right here

And once you do, you want to hold power key and volume down and keep holding the power

key and volume down until the screen turns off like it did just a second ago

Keep holding it for about a second or two longer and then switch from volume down to

volume up. So you'll basically be holding power key and volume up

And this should take us to recovery mode. So now let's put that all into practice

And as you can see, I believe it did work. Yep, it did. So once you see the Galaxy logo, you can let go

And there we go. We are now in the recovery mode. So from here, using volume keys, you want to select Wipe Data Factory Reset and then

confirm it with power key and again select Factory Data Reset. Confirm that and the phone will begin removing all your personal data

Now this takes just a brief second, at least at this stage. As you can see, data wipe complete and reboot system now selected by default from there

So all you need to do now is press power key once more to reboot the device and it will

now continue the process in the background. So it will take a little bit longer for the device to boot back up

But once it has, we should be greeted with the Android setup screen
