So when you boot it up for the first time, you will be presented with this screen right

over here and get started by tapping on, obviously, the start and this will take you to the next

page where you can insert your SIM card. Now if you don't have one, don't worry

You can simply skip this. And then it will take you to the Wi-Fi connection page, so you can connect to Wi-Fi if you want to

If you don't, then again, you can skip it, but by doing so, you will lose the ability to log into your Google account and also date and time won't be set automatically

Now both of those things can be changed later on after the setup is complete, just so you know

And there's the date and time, so if it's incorrect, you can fix it

We have Google services, so we have location, scanning and sending user and diagnostic data

You can read exactly what these do more in detail here. And if you don't like them, you can simply disable it and go further

Then you have the option to set up a protection to your device. So we have the PIN, pattern, password, choose whichever one you want

If you don't want any, then select not now. I'm going to set up a pattern here

Then it asks us for a secure startup. This is regarding the protection on the device

And what this does is when the device is turned off fully and you boot it back up, it will

prompt you with a PIN, pattern or password, wherever you have selected, to be inserted

before the device fully boots up. And then once it does, you have to insert it again

So I'm going to say no to that. And then on the next page, here we can actually start to insert our pattern, which we want

to use. So draw the pattern, tap on next, or redraw the pattern and confirm it

And there we go. We have now set up a pattern. And from here, accelerate the location, so just some improvements
