Here I have my phone hammer NRG and let me show you how to enter recovery mode on the

following phone. So at the very beginning let's use your power key for a few seconds

And as you can see Android Recovery just pops up. You can navigate here by using both volume keys

You can choose here for example apply update from ADB, wipe data factory reset, wipe cache

partition, backup users data, restore users data or for example check root integrity

If you would like to quit this mode simply choose the last option which is power off
