Welcome, and from me as an iPhone 13 Pro, and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this device
0:14
So we're going to begin with the control center and the toggles that are located in here
0:20
So I don't know if you're aware, but just apart from the toggles itself, which can basically toggle on and off like you would normally do
0:28
and they have, almost all of them, have a secondary function when you hold it
0:34
So as an example, if you hold brightness, a couple of toggles right here, so we have true tone on or off
0:39
night shift, which is basically the dark mode based on the timer, and actual dark mode toggle
0:45
Then Bluetooth, if you hold it, it gives you, well, if you hold the square itself
0:50
it then expands it, and now if you hold, for instance, Bluetooth, it gives you different Bluetooth devices
0:56
which are connected to this phone. We have also Wi-Fi, which brings up a list of different networks that are in your area
1:02
which you can connect from here on the fly, and so on. We have like hotspots, hair drops, and so on
1:10
So it just allows you to quickly access a lot of settings without actually needing to dig into the settings application
1:18
Now moving on to the next thing, which is going to be going back into the control center
1:24
As you see, we have a couple of toggles right at the bottom. Those are the default ones with like flashlight, I think stopwatch, calculator and camera
1:34
But what we can do is go into these settings and from here simply scroll down to control center
1:41
And these are the tagos that you've seen in the control center and the ones that are below are the ones that are disabled, which can add
1:48
You can see there is quite a decent variety of different tagos
1:52
We have things like dark mode, which as you've seen, we can access in a different way
1:56
but have things like, for instance, screen recorder, which is accessible only by adding it through here
2:04
You also have things like Jazeem and so on. Now, once you add those tagles, they will appear here, obviously
2:13
So you can add them, and those tagles that you can see right here are only the default applications
2:19
or everything becomes default with iPhone. So if you install some kind of applications from an App Store
2:25
and those applications have some kind of control center toggles they will
2:29
appear right here as well and you can add them additionally to view them right
2:34
here and have a quick access to them so anyway moving on to the next option it going to be a bit of a quality of life option I guess
2:47
I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but it's basically the, in a way, copy and paste
2:52
Now, if you ever use Android, you probably know that on Android you just have to select something
2:57
hold it, then select that out of the tiny little window that pops up, copy, and then go to
3:02
whatever application you want, hold again, select again, paste, and then paste it, right
3:06
which here we can just do it way easier so as an example I'm gonna navigate into here
3:15
select for C and before I do anything I'm gonna open up with like a not
3:22
and before I do anything I'm gonna open up like a notepad
3:28
so now can go to images and I don't actually need to hold this and select
3:36
copy and stuff like that I can just simply hold it as you can see I can move it around
3:41
I'm gonna swipe with my other finger to the notes and unfortunately no
3:47
does not actually accept photos which bummer so let's see what else maybe email
3:54
although I would have to add one damn that is actually making it very
3:59
difficult maybe I can add it two photos hopefully so let's try that again with photos no photos
4:18
photos don't work either oh no it does there we go so as you can see if you can actually
4:27
paste the image it will work i did screw up and basically found an application that
4:33
does not actually support photos in it for some reason so that
4:36
made it a little bit challenging but other than that once you find it out that actually supports photos and you can put them in there it works flawlessly now
4:45
there's also additional things so as an example if I go in to see back to Safari
4:50
where I have text and I capture a screenshot there is a way to select text in here
5:00
actually there we go I think we press this yep you can see you press this button and it
5:05
starts detecting all the text that are in here, which you can then additionally grab and not really do let go
5:17
Okay so let me try this again There is a way to select it
5:29
I'm trying to do it right now, but I'm struggling with it
5:36
Now I'm gonna try something different. Do it screenshot. Let's go to all
5:45
We have a bunch of text right here to mess around. mess around. So, there we go
5:55
So like so. You can see you first select the text that you want to
6:00
move. So right now it's selected and I can just simply grab it
6:05
You can see that it's basically on my finger and I can swipe to an up
6:11
Hopefully, unless I don't have an up. Now how do I actually switch to it
6:24
I know there is a way but honestly I think I'm wasting a little bit too much time on it
6:30
So for some reason I can't really swipe through it to another app
6:36
It works a little bit weirdly so maybe it works once you actually save the screenshot
6:42
But let me quickly check. I go into photos right in here
6:49
Get bit of this. Nope, that also doesn't seem to do it
6:58
Oh, there we go. I have the button right here. So hopefully now this will work
7:06
And I can stop wasting time. And there we go. So now let's find..
7:15
Where's my notepad? Oh, there we go
7:28
Oh, come on. I'm really not having luck with this one, apparently
7:35
But obviously this works similar to like an image, although it should paste it as a text, though for some reason..
7:42
I'm not sure why it didn't. unless I'm just dumb and let's see if that was the problem
7:56
There we go So as you can see that basically that was my problem I didn actually create a note I tried to drop it into nothingness So there we go
8:11
Took a little bit of practice here to actually figure out myself. As you can see, that's how you do it
8:17
You capture a screenshot and then you can go to Photos and select it from here by tapping
8:21
on this tiny little button, which will allow you to select whatever text the photos application
8:27
actually detect. And from there, grab it over and drag it to..
8:30
things like emails or notes, stuff like that. And this should also work with photos as well
8:38
So this is not web browser. Straight again. And there we go
8:46
So even photos can be pasted this way. So anyway, moving on to the next option
8:52
because I wasted way too much on this one, we'll have the dark mode
8:56
which is a fairly simple, I know, option. So obviously there's two ways of an
9:00
by going either to the brightness by holding this and just flipping it on or by going through settings
9:08
So we can go through settings and you can then go to display and brightness and right here we have the two titles
9:16
Additionally you do also have a schedule so when you turn that on it will basically select itself based on the time
9:22
so to switch between dark and light mode depending on the time of day
9:29
So basically this is probably the better option because during daytime you will have light mode, during the night time you'll have dark mode
9:38
So moving on the next one and last one and just going to be the simple widgets
9:43
So as you can see we do have couple widgets that are kind of like preloaded in here by default just so you are aware that they actually exist
9:51
So if you want to add your own, if you have downloaded some kind of app that also has a widgets in them
9:56
How you add them is by simply holding your finger on the screen
10:01
Here we go. All your icons become to shake. And as you can see, you have the plus button right over here
10:07
Click on it, and this gives you overview of all the widgets that you have accessible right now
10:11
from different applications and so on. So you can simply select whichever one you want, like so
10:16
You can choose between sizes of them. Top-out widget, and there we go
10:24
It is now added. It's basically that simple. So anyway, this would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I want to share with you
