hard reset the device to the recovery mode and also remove a screen lock on

So I'm gonna quickly lock the device and you can see I do have a pattern set so

I'm gonna progress from here as though I don't actually know it. So let's get

started by holding the power key, selecting power off and once device

shuts off you want to hold power key and volume up. So let's start right now

Power, volume up. Once you see the Redmi logo you can let go of the power, keep

holding volume up till you see the main menu MIUI recovery as you can see. And

from here what you want to do is select wipe data. Now unfortunately touch

navigate up and down and then power key confirm whatever is selected. And from
