Welcome! In front of me is a Nokia 5.1 and today I will show you how to access the
0:11
fastboot mode on this device. So before we start you will need a cable as you
0:16
can see I have one right here and it's plugged into the computer. So set that on
0:20
the side and power off the phone. So hold power key and then select shut down and
0:27
wait for the device to shut off. So I'm just gonna flip the phone over so I can
0:32
plug it in and once the device is off you can plug in the cable and wait till
0:42
you see the screen that it's indicating that it's the battery is actually charging. Okay so once you see this we can progress to hold power key and
0:55
volume up. So hold both of those keys simultaneously and once you see the
1:02
Android One logo you can immediately let go. So you can unplug if you like. It's
1:14
not needed anymore. So now that you see the Android logo with no command all
1:22
you need to do is hold power key and select or tap volume up. So while holding
1:27
power tap volume up and you will be taken to the recovery mode. And from here
1:34
you want to select reboot to bootloader using volume keys. So volume up and down
1:39
will navigate you to the menu and power key will be used to select. So if you
1:43
have it checked reboot to bootloader tap on power key and you will be taken to
1:50
the fastboot mode. And I'm not sure if it's visible on the camera but right at
1:59
the bottom there is fastboot mode. So the device is now in fastboot mode. And if
2:06
you like to leave this mode you can just simply hold power key till the phone shuts off. So basically the moment you see the fastboot mode disappear from the
2:15
screen you can let go. Yeah
2:28
And it will power back on into the normal Android. And as you can see we're
2:44
back in the Android out of the fastboot mode. So that is how you would access and
2:51
also leave the fastboot mode. And if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
