through recovery mode. Now this will remove a screen lock if you have one that you don't know

set one up really quickly right here. Okay, so now I have a screen lock set and I'll progress from the lock screen as though

So let's get started by holding the power key and then selecting power off

When you see the Xiaomi logo, you can let go of those keys and simply wait for the recovery

So from here, we're going to select Wipe Data. Now I believe we need to use the volume keys to navigate through it
