Welcome. Infonomy is a Vivo Y-16 and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and the tricks you can do on this phone
0:11
So let's just jump straight into it. Let's open up settings and start off from the display portion
0:20
So display and brightness and in here you'll find the first thing which is the dark theme
0:24
This will enable you to enable the dark mode in general and this is a
0:30
permanent kind of switch so it will be always on dark mode assuming you don't turn
0:35
it off obviously and if you tap on it the text meaning this will allow you to set it up to be a
0:41
sunset to sunrise or on a schedule based which will mean that for instance if you select
0:47
it select it to be sunset to sunrise it will just switch between when it gets a light
0:52
outside it turns light mode and if it becomes like dark outside meaning night
0:56
time it switches automatically to dark mode so And this way, when you wake up at night and you want to check your phone
1:03
you won't be getting flashbanked by your own device, which is always a plus. Now, moving on to the next option, it's going to be the status bar
1:12
which is also under the display and brightness, right over here. And you'll find the notification method
1:18
Now, by default, it's set to icons, which you can see right here, several of them. You can change it to numbers and this will give you a little bit cleaner look of the status bar but you can also completely remove them all together The notifications are still here They just won be showing
1:33
in the status bar at all, which, like I said, gives you a nice, clean look to your device
1:40
Now, moving on to the next option, it's going to be the enhanced..
1:45
What is it? Dynamic effects and we have enhanced dynamic effects. Now by default they will be turned on and I do rather turn them off
1:58
So interface dynamic effects and also weather backgrounds because this device is relatively slow
2:06
turning them off might give you a just extra performance boost in this device
2:10
meaning that you might be able to load into different apps a little bit quicker and the phone might just act a little bit faster
2:17
to me just that hope is enough to actually disable this. So that's what I do
2:22
And moving on to the next option, it's going to be the RAM and storage settings right here
2:29
and you find this little option right here, RAM. Just make sure that it is selected to be extended RAM
2:35
meaning that it basically doubles your RAM in a way, because the phone comes with 4 gigs in general
2:41
and then you can extend with 4 extra that is basically being pulled from the actual storage of your phone
2:49
Now one more thing to mention here if you start running out of storage on your phone and you don want to put in your sd card or something like that maybe you don have it don want to buy one uh you can
3:01
additionally if for instance you just ran out on a spot out of storage for some reason and you just
3:06
need it right now more you could go in here turn this option off this would provide you with four
3:12
extra gigs of storage uh but obviously it would be then running a only four gigabytes of ram device
3:18
Now to also kind of clarify this the kind of RAM that is based on your storage will most certainly not be as fast as the actual dedicated RAM
3:30
So there we go. Now the reason why I didn't turn it on or off is because when you do so it does require your device to reboot
3:39
So I didn't really want to do that. Now going on to the couple last options I'm going to touch upon the where is it
3:48
shortcuts and accessibility and in here we have quick actions and you have a bunch of
3:54
them or a bunch of options right here by default it is set to be a turn on off torch
4:00
and as you can see can check it out right here it tells you to hold whoops I turned
4:03
it off to hold volume down to enable it when the device is locked so let's try this out
4:09
volume down and there we go nice vibration so yeah obviously this one works you can change it be something else like recording, open camera, but Facebook, apps, so yeah. Now we have also a couple additional things like Smart Motion
