hard reset this phone through recovery mode in order to get rid of things like

screen lag. Which actually I don't have one set up so I'm gonna quickly do that

right now. And there we go. So now I do have a screen lag. I'm gonna also quickly check

one other thing. So I am logged into Google account. Now the reason I did

check it is because when you have things like Google account signed in and also

some kind of screen lag when you perform a factor reset of the device through recovery mode this will make the device become FRP locked. So once the

reset is finished you will be in the setup screen at which point you will need to verify your either Google account or the previous screen lag. But

assuming you don't know the screen lag that that leaves only the actual Google account. Anyway when I lock the device you'll be able to see that now I do have

a pattern and I'll progress from the lock screen as though I don't know my

pattern. So we're gonna start off by turning off our device. Once the phone

turns off you wanna hold power key and volume up at the same time

This will bring up the Vivo fastboot mode apparently. So from here you wanna

select the recovery mode which we need to do using volume keys and then power

confirm it. From here you will want to select clear data by simply tapping on

it then clear all data. Okay Select return the arrow back and from here you want to select restart. This

will continue the process in the background so it will take the device a little bit longer to turn back on but once the actual factor reset has been
