unboxing along a quick overview of it. So starting straight off I will mention that I

already did go and unbox the device and set it up so I will save a little bit of a

as you can see with the case which is a really nice thing then below that

we have just some trash paperwork so throw that away we go now we also have a

sim eject tool a charger which this is for some reason this looks like the

has 20 charger but no it's Motorola a much of Oh, in a way, there is a 20

It's a 20-watt charger. So it just kind of makes it look like it's straight out of Samsung's lineup of the S-20 phones for some reason

I don't know, maybe it's just me. But yeah, it's a 20-watt charger type A to type C

So something really special here. And then obviously the cable in here

So the cable is type A to type C. Type C just what accommodates the charger and the port on the phone

There we go. So I will say one thing, even though I did pull off that little sticker, this is all just more for a show

The device, as you can maybe see, it has a screen protector already pre-applied on it, which doesn't actually come brand new

So that sticker was just there to give you a little bit of experience of how it would feel just to, well, how it would look to unbox it when it's brand new

but you don't have that tempered glass on it by default. So, jumping straight to the phone itself

I will mention right of the bat, this is more of a, not more, but this is a mid-range device

and I would say it's catering more to the low-end side of the budget

for 180 euros. I would say it's a really affordable device. And for the price that it costs

I do have to say that it comes with certain things that I really like in this device

So apart from the, obviously the display right here, which is a 6.5 inch 720 by 1600 displayed

so not necessarily the most sharp display, even though I would say looking at it right now

it looks really good. I can't really complain. I don't have a 2020 vision, but to me this display looks really good

even for the 720P apparently Also it has an IPS LCD display

but the caveat here it is that it's 90 hertz display so that will make things look a little bit smoother

and honestly you can see that right if you're used to 60 and you get this phone

it will feel like it's running a little bit faster for some reason even though it's packing mid-range specs

so things like Snapchat and 662. So that is not necessarily the best processor

It's nowhere near. But because of that higher refresh rate, the phone feels way better than it actually is

which is a really good positive, I would say. So it also has an 82.2% screen-to-body ratio

Primarily, the biggest part here is the chin at the bottom. Sadly, it is here, but honestly it doesn't look that bad

and then also it has a 269, nice, pixels per inch. So, like I said, it's not the most dense display in terms of pixel count

but like I said also, it looks really good to me. I can't really complain about it

Now it doesn't get really bright. Right now the exposure on the camera is turned up a little bit and this is as bright as it will get So something tells me that in direct sunlight during summer or stuff like that that display will look like it turned off and like I said direct sunlight

Which that is probably one of the not the good things here

But if you don't mind living with something like that, you don't plan to use the phone and just like

direct sunlight then you should be fine. The majority of the other circumstances

if I flip it over, as you can see, we have a quadruple camera setup

white sensor which i ask i haven't tested it but i assume it will be fine what isn't fine it's

going to be the two megapixel macro and two megapixel depth sensor. Those will be utter garbage

and I don't need to test it. I'm willing to bet that there will be utter trash. So yeah, but it also

has one more camera, 8 megapixel ultra wide. Now again, I don't really think that camera will do much

It's just an 8 megapixel ultra white so I wouldn't be expecting much from it. I usually those come

a little bit pixelated for capturing wider angle. You do lose quality, which is

which I don't really consider to be a worth trade-off. So that's just my personal opinion here

But I guess at the end of the day, it will be up to you if you deem ultra wide to be worth it

And one last thing that I will do is turn on the portrait, which I believe uses the depth sensor

Okay. So this is going to be the portrait with, I believe, the depth sensor

I have to say it looks a little bit better than the actual Vfinder did show

So unlike the preview, it looked abhorrent, that would be my definition of it

Now these don't really count. And you can kind of see what I mean by this, by the macro 2 megapixel

Even though it is working well here, you can see this unnatural look even in this one

Now this is not necessarily what I wanted to capture, but it kind of showcases what I mean

So if you look at this part right over here, the pebble. they are basically in focus

But then if you look at the actual plant itself, it has almost like a halo or circle around it

where everything is blurred out. And this is not naturally blurred out. This is by the phone itself and post-processing

This blur shouldn't be here. And you can basically see it based on that distinct line

that is going around both like right here, blurring everything, and then just having a really nicely focused area right here

If you ever use that natural camera, you will probably be our cut this blur right here is so high that it's basically unnatural and just looks super fake and just other trash

But if we go back to this one and here, we still have it like right over here a little bit where you can see that these needles are starting to be blurred out with the background

It is unnatural but honestly it's better than I would have expected

So, yeah, I have to give it props to that. It does it

It uses that sensor, but it doesn't use it to the full potential, which I would consider to be a real positive here

Now, going back to this one, this was the macro shot, and if I zoom in, well, that's all I can zoom in

So for a micro shot, this is just trash. It's bad. It's unusable

And then if we go back here, this is the ultra-wide. So again, if I zoom in, as I said, it loses quality

It starts, I'm not sure if it's well visible on a camera. But this is grainy

I wouldn't consider it to be a feasible shot. This is a well-lit room

But the photo right here is anything but well-captured. And my hand isn't really shaky right here for this photo to be looking bad

This is just the limitation of the 8 megapixel white sensor. And then moving to the 64 megapixel white shot

As you can see, this stuff really good. If you're planning to capture things like macro shots

I would advise it to just go with the 64 megapixel white sensor

Try to get it as close as you can before it starts losing focus

Because if you look at it right here, the area right here isn't in focus

but if you look at down, this actually is in the focus. So it's just a tiny bit too close

Without that, if you look at this, this is really sharp. For comparison with the wide, well, this white sensor and the macro

this is way better. And that basically makes that 2 megapixel macro lens useless

If the main sensor can do the better job than the dedicated

So like I said, the macro and depth are kind of useless

One is basically being not used and the other one you might as well just not use

overly because it will capture worse results than just a 64 megapixel

And then on the front we do have a 13 megapixel white sensor So let me just flip it over

And it does some outstanding blur in a background again for no reason

trying to see if I can turn it off because this is not very good. Okay, so I have a little bit of a grape here

If you look at this right over here, this slider, let me just close it off. So you do have this little button right here, which will more add or reduce blur around

and what I mean by blur is if I open up this photo right here and there we go if I move

it you can see this kind of halo almost it creates this weird blurriness around me

which is just really bad I would say and even at the smallest part of it it still is

visible and I wouldn't call it very good now you can make it even more

absurd now it does only work if it I believe detects a face because I don't

see a difference in here so yeah that being said this is kind of bad that you

to the actual specifications of this device which are I would say a saving grace

of this phone it comes with a couple different variants in terms of storage so you have a

64 and 128 gigabyte version and you have for those two you have a 4 gigabyte RAM option

but for the 128 gigabytes you can also go a little bit higher for the 6 gigabyte RAM which

personally I would say it might be a little bit better to go for the 6 gigabyte RAM just to be a

little bit future proof in terms of like how the device performs because otherwise it might

seem a little bit slowish and outdated if you go for a four

Now, I haven't really tested it extensively, the difference between those, so don't take my word actually for it

but the more RAM you have, the more apps can run in the background. And that being said, you could have a bit of a better experience with more RAM

And also, in terms of future, if apps are more demanding, then you will be set with higher RAM

which is something that you won't be able to upgrade unlike the storage so

with the storage that has either the 64, 128 gigabar version you still have the option to expand it using an SD card

this phone actually comes with a whopping 5,000 million power battery so this is an absolutely unit in here

So I would assume this is going to be like at least two-day device

if you're planning to pick it up, I don't really have any problems with this device

and I could basically recommend you if you really want to get this one. There might be some other alternatives, for instance from like Xiaomi

but if you're not really wanting to get some kind of Chinese phone, then Motorola will be a really good alternative
