Welcome. And for me, I have the new DJI Osmo Action for CAM
0:08
So this is basically the action cams. And today I'll go over unboxing and a quick look at the specs of this camera
0:15
So let's just get right into it. So in here, not the most glamorous packaging
0:27
We have our Action Cam. I have a little baggy for moisture and then that's about it
0:38
So here accessories we get, let's see what do we get. That's all we get
0:45
So we have the charging cable along with the mounting. We have a case along with couple
0:58
additional things inside of here so let's get a battery okay so that looks like a lens cover or maybe a replacement if you break it
1:19
let's get the battery because i don't think there is one already in here
1:28
Oh come on, there we go. That's charging. It's charging. Is it this? Probably not
1:57
there we go found it additionally we do have the SD card
2:08
spot right here as well okay Okay Oh for goodness sake
2:24
Why would it be able just to work when you can have it be set up with other devices
2:30
Wait, I can skip it. But only five times. Are you effing kidding me
2:37
What kind of dog shit design is this? I can skip it or I can't. F off with this
2:41
f-off with this. Jesus. I hate corporations for this. This is absolute bullshit design
2:51
In any case, going back to the actual like accessories, we basically have everything
2:57
that we'd expect. We have a case and mounting points for it. So you can, for instance
3:01
mount it to your bike helmet or whatever you want to use it with, as you do with any
3:05
kind of action cam. Now, when it comes on to these specifications
3:09
which will be probably the more important one, Here, let's just turn that off
3:14
Oh, not what I pressed. I guess I have to hold it. There we go
3:19
So, this right here is a 1 over 1.3 inch cosmo sensor
3:25
The weight of this is about 145 grams. So it is, I would say, at least, feeling this a little bit on a chunkier side
3:33
compared to like some other action camps. And continuing down with the specs
3:40
we have, instead of in millie amps, we have a time-based battery
3:46
capacity, so 160 minutes, which I think for action cam is actually pretty decent
3:52
And in addition, there is no extra battery, so you only have this one, but it supports fast charging
4:00
So that is actually a big plus for people that want to quickly charge up the battery
4:04
and then continue recording. Now additionally, we have 18 meter waterproofing so you can submerge it into water and the depth of about 18 meters and
4:17
this is a caseless design so you don't need any kind of case to have this
4:21
waterproofing it is just basically built into the camera itself so can you like
4:25
literally drop this straight away into water 18 meters deep and it will nothing will happen with it and the reason I pointing that out is because some other devices meaning action cams when they have waterproofing
4:40
it is with some like waterproof case that you need to put over it, and only then will it technically be waterproof
4:47
This is just kind of straight away. Now, operation or temperature, operational ranges
4:54
range anywhere from hypothermia to heat stroke, aka minus 20 to 45C
5:00
or for the Fahrenheit people, from minus 4 Fahrenheit to 113 Fahrenheit
5:08
And continuing down, in terms of quality of recording, we can capture 4K 120 hertz refresh rate videos on here
5:18
We have also support, like I mentioned, for fast charging, quick release design
5:24
I assume this is probably referring to these things specifically. there we go I also... missing this, there we go
5:34
As this is part of this kind of design. So I assuming it is referring to this, or maybe..
5:47
Doesn't seem... Look, it really matters. That being said, I just realized..
5:56
So we have this case, which... Now I'm just going to take this out just so I can demonstrate this
6:03
So this is the mounting point
6:19
And in terms of the case, you just mounted to this side
6:24
It magnetically attaches as you can see. and it doesn't actually latch on right away
6:31
As you can see, there is a gap. So you just push it on
6:35
You might need to press the sides of it, like so. And it clips in and obviously we'll hold
6:42
Now, this is the case. At the bottom, we also have this kind of mounting points
6:50
And same thing latches on and as you can see it holds pretty well so there we go I just wanted to point that out that the mounting points for this
6:59
are built in into the action camp so you don't actually need to use the case if you don't
7:03
want to obviously it adds a little extra bit of bulk and in terms of certain countries
7:10
and maybe states there are laws for instance if you mount this to your bike helmet
7:15
to what can protrude or how much can protrude from your bike helmet
7:20
even though it's the stupidest I think a lot could possibly exist there are some or maybe just caps will
7:26
take out the stick up their ass and or put it there just so they can bug you
7:31
in any case obviously case will add additional thickness to it which would obviously count towards that
7:40
so just kind of wanted to point that out and one more thing
7:45
this does have a mounting point at the bottom and the case has it on the side but
7:51
it's designed in a way if I take this off and put the cam in here
7:57
some will go this way there we go clap it in so I can mount it from a side right but I
8:12
still have the point at the bottom. There we go. So you still can use the case and the bottom mounting
8:23
point or the side one depending on which one you actually want. I want thing to keep in mind
8:29
when you're clipping this just make sure it clips in all the way. Sometimes it might just be a
8:34
little bit off and it could then just come off loose obviously. So just make sure it barriers these
8:39
little clip sound. Anyway that's about it. I'm not going to be
8:45
doing any kind of camera test right here with this. This was just a quick look at it, unboxing along with the spec rundown, so there we go
8:54
Anyway, if you found this very helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
