Welcome and for the name is an iPhone 12 many and today I'll show you a couple
0:11
tweaks and tricks you can do on this device now starting off with the most
0:15
simple one it's going to be the control center options and when you pull it down
0:19
you have a limited amount of controls now they do have a little bit more when you hold it
0:24
as you can see it gives you couple more toggles same goes for my
0:30
majority of them but you can also go into these settings under control center
0:39
and you'll find additional options in here to basically add different taggles to it
0:44
as you can see there's several of them I only added like two so if I remove these
0:51
two that is basically the default at which the iPhone comes with and from here I
0:57
can simply add more toggles by tapping on a plus like so. As you can see now we have more. So you can expand your
1:05
tangles right there to quickly access different applications. Now also the applications that are visible right here are all, well the applications that come
1:13
pre-installed. If you download some kind of apps from the store, they might also
1:19
have a toggle right here so you can go check it and from there you can add the
1:22
toggle to your control center as well. So moving on to the next option it's
1:28
That's going to be the dark mode. Now if you kind of disregarded it throughout the setup
1:32
because you do have an option to set it, you can still change it later on and change it
1:38
out with whatever point you want. And the quickest way to do it is by pulling down the control
1:42
center and where you have the brightness as you can see this is the brightness you can hold it this will bring up this bigger version right but at the bottom you have a couple different things
1:54
like the true tone so you can disable true tone if you don't want it i can enable dark mode if you
1:59
want it as you can see there's a dark mode there was another option which is night shift
2:08
night shift can automatically adjust the color of your display at night shift
2:12
night to reduce your eye strain. That actually sounds kind of nice. So you can enable that if you
2:18
want to or not. I'm going to just turn that off for now though. And going back you can also
2:25
turn on the light mode from this option as well by simply disabling dark mode. So there we go
2:33
So now moving on to the next option it's going to be the display zoom. Now this is for a little bit
2:41
more of an elderly people. So if a small content on your phone is necessarily the best
2:51
it gives you a little bit of a hard time to read it. You can enable the... oops, you can enable
2:56
the display zoom, which is under screen and brightness or display in brightness. And I believe
3:05
it's at the very bottom view. There I go. And you can see that there's a standard and then
3:11
and there's also the zoomed. So you can set it. Once you check it on, make sure you tap on the set, use zoom
3:19
and this will then turn change it. You can clearly see right here
3:24
the page right here is a little bit bigger, not by much
3:28
but it is bigger. And same should go for icons They a little bit more packed together Again it not a huge difference I would say but I guess any difference is probably good
3:42
Now, for the rest of this video, I'm actually going to change it back to standard
3:46
so it doesn't look so bloated. There we go. So you could definitely see the difference of it being turned off
3:55
At least I did. So moving on to the next option. following up the trend with kind of a features for elderly people it's going to be
4:10
the emergency SOS option right over here now this is not strictly just for elderly
4:16
people I think it will probably function best for those people and functions
4:23
even better with those people if they have an Apple watch kind of probably
4:28
like you're already aware everything with Apple is better if you're you get stuck more and more into the ecosystem
4:34
And this is one of those things. So by default, I have the emergency SSOS
4:38
which you activate with holding the power key and volume down or volume up
4:44
And this will, in turn, let you to set it up. But in turn, it will contact someone that you have chosen
4:52
with information that, basically a message that you're in distress and send them also your current location
5:00
using the localization so they actually know where you are. Now this can be said to, for instance, your doctor and things like that
5:08
And like I said, it works even better with Apple Watch because it does also give the Apple Watch data as well
5:15
So if something happens with you, they will be in for that I don know for instance your heart stopped and a watch cannot detect heart rate anymore so like I said it works a little bit better with it so and now moving on to the next and well last option
5:36
it's going to be the app library now by default you probably are already aware if not then I guess
5:44
you're probably new in the Apple environment that Apple tends to to install all their applications smack in the middle of your home screen
5:52
So as you can see right over here. And if you want to get rid of it before you would have to basically hide it in folders, which
6:01
wasn't necessarily the most optimal way of managing your clutter. But now they also added the app library, which allows you to basically install apps into
6:13
a drawer, kind of like Android does. And by default is still going to install the apps right in the middle of your home screen
6:22
but you do have an option to actually change it. So all you need to do is go into your settings and then let's go to homescreen
6:32
And you will have newly downloaded apps will be added to home screen or app library only
6:39
So whatever new app you download, it's only going to appear in the app library
6:44
So it will then minimize the clutter on your home screen and you can manage it a little bit better
6:52
But that being said, this would conclude all the tweaks and tricks that I wanted to share
6:56
