Welcome, Ephanami is a Real Me GT2 and today I'll show you a couple tweaks and tricks you can do on this phone
0:11
Now, let's get started by opening up our settings. And we're going to navigate first to the wallpaper and style which will give us access to a bunch of customization for this device
0:24
So we have things like wallpaper and always on display but then we have more interesting things like fonts and icons
0:29
So if you have some kind of icon packs installed, they will be visible right here
0:33
You can change them. And you also have additional settings like shrinking them or making them bigger if you want to
0:38
making a more uniform icon art, or for instance hiding the names if you don't want to see them
0:44
Now going back, we also have colors. This will allow you to change the colors of these tuggles right here
0:51
There are several pre-made ones, and we also have one that I personally like
0:55
which is the one that is based on wallpaper. So depending on what wallpaper you have and what colors that wallpaper has
1:00
it will adapt several different colors from that wallpaper to your general theme of different colors here
1:07
So that's pretty nice. And obviously we also have a couple additional settings like the fingerprint animation or edge lighting and so on
1:15
So you can fiddle around here and see what we want to change and change it to your liking
1:20
Now moving on to the next thing, it's going to be the dark mode
1:24
Now here we have the light and dark mode as a switch, but we'll also have a schedule mode for it
1:28
So if you enable this, it will switch from light to dark mode based on time of day
1:33
So it's sunset to sunrise and I'm pretty sure it should already change
1:40
Weird that it didn't. Oh, it starts at 10, not 8. Okay so I think that the default timer for the sunset to sunrise but you can also in a custom one you can actually change the timer while on the pre one you obviously can So what this will do is change from light mode to dark mode at 10 p and then switch back to light mode at 6 a
2:07
So I personally do like this myself, just because during the nighttime, I prefer my display in night mode or dark mode
2:13
Well, during daytime, especially when you're going outside, a light mode I think is a little bit better
2:18
to see, especially if your display doesn't get too bright. Now moving on
2:23
we have a couple image enhancements options in here in the display section. So we have the image
2:28
sharpener. Now, it might be hard to see this on camera, but
2:34
if you look at this image on your end, if you house, at least closer, you'll see that this
2:38
B on at least the left side is a little bit pixelated, while on the right side is a little bit sharper
2:43
Now, this is kind of, I believe, just cheating a little bit
2:48
because the resolutions of these two images are completely different. Image sharpening just sharpens it as the name would imply
2:59
This is just like the comparison is it's of an image upscaling
3:04
which is a completely different thing. But I guess it might just give you a little bit of understanding
3:12
Still, you can enable to see if it improves some of your content
3:16
Just beware that it will consume a little bit more your battery life just because it for the sharpening to take effect which actually saying that it
3:25
actually might be upscaling it not sharpening it because it will need processing power to
3:31
uh to actually you know improve the image which sharpening shouldn't really be taking that much almost
3:37
nothing so there a chance that it actually upscales instead of like sharpening it anyway moving on further we have a video color enhancer so again two of to compare to And this one is the enhanced This one is non And it just makes it a little bit
3:53
brighter and more vibrant, a little bit more pleasant to look at. Now, one more thing to
3:58
keep in mind, this basically is an HDR to or SDR to HDR technology video color gamut for
4:07
superb, a visual, whatever. So basically, just an explanation. But, I believe this only functions with video
4:14
So yeah. Then moving further, we also have video motion enhancer. So this one should improve just how smooth the video runs
4:26
Again, just as every other of these enhancements, it will consume more of your battery
4:34
And then lastly we have the brighter HDR video mode. So this will increase the screen brightness
4:39
One of the text, some kind of HDR content being played on the screen. a screen. So you might have a little bit better experience watching some kind of
4:46
HDR videos with this enabled where the bright areas that's supposed to be bright
4:52
are even brighter. All the dark areas still stay dark just because this is
4:57
if I remember correctly an Amelot display. Now moving on to next option it's
5:04
going to be the full screen display, our full screen for apps. Now typically I probably
5:11
we wouldn't really include this, but recently, at least for me, I have been finding usage for this
5:18
So what it allows you to do? Because by default, some ops are just kind of made a little bit garbage
5:24
It allows you to set how the application is being shown on a display
5:31
So I'm just going to give you an example. I have downloaded this because I know for a fact that this doesn work correctly So it the SteamLink application When you open it up once it loads up you see it creates this massive black bar at the top
5:46
to hide camera. Technically, this should be in full screen, which we should have this in full screen
5:57
And going in here, if we scroll down to Steamlink, there we go, it's auto-adapt
6:03
but it's not full-screen as you have, seen. So we can literally force it into showing the front camera which is the equivalent
6:10
of just having it in full screen. And now if we flip back to this, we'll need to reload
6:15
And voila, it now accommodates the entire screen. Which obviously for content like gaming
6:22
through Steamlink, that's a really nice thing. You'll have a little bit more content
6:26
visible on this display, giving you a little bit just a several percent more immersive
6:32
experience on a device. Now, moving on to, last thing that I want to show adds the options for gesture navigation
6:42
Now if you use gesture navigation that will work for you, if you don't, obviously this doesn't apply to you, but it can enable it just to test it around
6:50
So let's go back into the settings. We're going to scroll down to additional settings and system navigation
6:55
And just if you want to check it out, just title long gestures. And here we have hide a gesture guide bar, which basically removes this bar at the bottom
7:03
you can see it's there and it's gone and it gives you a much cleaner look to your device
7:09
this is just purely aesthetics but I personally like it so I decided to include it
7:15
now with this being said this would conclude the video so if you found this very helpful
7:20
don't forget to hit like subscribe and thanks for watching
