Welcome, Enfronomy is a Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and today I will show you a couple tweaks
0:05
and tricks you can do on this device. So jumping straight into it, let's open up settings and we're going to navigate under
0:17
the display section, where you will find the dark and light mode
0:21
Now under that you have a scheduled dark mode, which allows you to select it so it automatically
0:27
switches between light and dark mode based on a time of day, so sunset to sunrise, or
0:32
on a custom timer of your choice. Which basically what will happen is the device will be switching between light mode, so by
0:40
default it will be light mode during the daytime, and dark mode during the nighttime, so you
0:44
won't be getting flashbanged anymore by your device when you wake up at night and you want
0:48
to check out the time of the day. Now moving on to the next option, it's going to be the show notification icons, or more
0:57
precisely not show them because this is more for like a clean look
1:03
So when you swipe down, as you can see I have three different notifications right here, but we can hide them
1:07
All we need to do is navigate into the control center and notifications and control center
1:16
Then from here we're going to go into status bar, right at the bottom, and you have this
1:22
right here, show notification icons, when I turn that off, as you can see it hides them
1:28
Now it won't hide the toggles like NFC, which you can still see right here, because it is
1:33
enabled, but the notifications that are right here will be hidden and won't show up
1:42
And while we're in here, there is also another thing that I want to show, which is this thing
1:46
right here, control center style, and here you can get back the old school control center
1:55
which is personally what I prefer myself. As you probably know, right now it's separated, so you have the toggles by swiping down from
2:03
the right, and notifications by swiping down on the left. And as it used to be, you would have both by swiping down anywhere
2:13
So I prefer the old version, it just keeps it easier, simpler, so you just swipe down
2:20
anywhere, you don't need to be very specific about it. So you don't need to be very specific, it gives you the notification plus the toggles
2:28
so you can access both of them really easily. Now moving on with this kind of clean look, we have the system navigation, so we're going
2:38
to go into the settings again, whatever, there we go. Additional settings, scroll down and you'll have full screen display right here, and we
2:49
can select gestures. Now if you know how to use them, just select not now, and if you have never used the gestures
2:56
before, I would recommend selecting the learn option. Now once you have gone through this, there is also another neat option right here, which
3:04
is the hide full screen indicator, which is this bar at the bottom right here
3:10
So when you toggle it on, it just hides the bar, gives it a cleaner look, while still
3:17
functioning the same way as it did with it. Nothing really changes, it's just you won't see the bar anymore
3:23
Now when it comes down to the back gesture, as you can see, that will still show up
3:29
Now moving on to the last option, it's going to be the sidebar, kind of similar like Samsung
3:34
has it. So let's navigate into the settings, I'm going to go into additional settings once more
3:40
and we're going to go into floating windows, sidebar, and you can toggle it on right over here
3:51
From there, you can pull it up and you have access to a bunch of applications
3:55
I believe these ones either are all the apps that are right now, or just like frequently
4:00
used ones. I'm not exactly sure, haven't tested it out all that much
4:04
But as you can see, it opens them up in a pop-up view. It would be nice if I could interact with this without actually..
4:11
Oh, there we go. I was trying to figure out how to actually interact with it
4:20
Every device has it a little bit differently if they have pop-up options
4:24
So here, as you can see, to close it, you just kind of swipe down
4:30
You can fullscreen it by swiping down on this bar at the bottom. So there we go
4:35
