HUAWEI Nova Y90 Safe Mode | How to Enter & Quit Safe Mode

Welcome, and following me is a Huawei Nova Y90 and today I'll show you how we can put this phone into safe mode

So to get started we'll want to hold power key. From here tap on power off, that once more, and when the phone turns off you want to hold power key and volume up at the same time

After a moment you should see the Huawei logo. Keep holding the power key and volume up for a couple more seconds, about five or so

and then let go and simply wait for the recovery mode to show up

From here select the last option, safe mode. Now once you click on the safe mode obviously the device will reboot and once it boots up it will be in the desired mode

Now in the safe mode only the pre-installed applications will function normally, so basically all the apps that come by default with the device

Anything that you have installed yourself will be temporarily disabled and you won't be able to use it whatsoever in this mode

And also there might also be some other apps that come with the device that will not work

So let's see if we have any. It looks like on Huawei it actually just completely hides them

so all the gaps would be usually where I used to have some apps, but as you can see it just kind of completely removes them

And normally and basically all the other phones you would see the apps, they would just be greyed out, but here it's completely gone

So these are all the default apps that come with the device. Now the reason for the disappearance of the other apps is so you can troubleshoot your device

If some kind of app is causing you problems, this app is right now not able to run whatsoever

It cannot start on its own, neither can you start it yourself

So if you had some kind of problem you can try to troubleshoot it right now

And once you're done doing so, to leave this mode all you need to do is hold the power key

Once more, but this time around select restart. Once the device boots back up it will be back in a normal mode
