Welcome and following me is a Lenovo Tab 4 and today I'll show you how to wipe

cache partition on this device. So to get started we want to hold the power key

and from there select power off. Give it a second for the tablet to actually shut

down which will be indicated by the vibration and then give it a couple more

seconds just so the key command actually works. So once it's off hold power key and

volume down. Now this will boot us into fastboot mode which is not really where

we want to be but this is the only way that I found that can actually access recovery mode. For some reason this tablet has the stupidest recovery mode

boot sequence ever. So from here what you will do is once you see the fastboot

mode is hold power key and volume up which will forcibly restart the device

making the boot into fastboot mode kind of redundant but once it restarts it

will show up Lenovo logo which means you want to let go of the power key but keep holding volume up. This will boot us into recovery mode. Now if you would have

just done power off and hold those two keys like it works on every other phone

this would do nothing. Go figure. Now anyway once you actually see the

recovery mode you can navigate using volume keys and you want to do those

keys or use those keys to select wipe cache partition obviously and then

confirm it with power key. Select yes. There we go. Confirm that. As you can see at the bottom you should see cache wipe

complete and reboot system now will be selected by default. So press power key
