And for now I'm using a Medion X5004 and today I will show you how to perform a

hardware reset of the device through the recovery mode and also remove a screen like if you have one that you don't know pattern to. So let me first lock the

device you can see that there is a pattern on here. There we go. So I'm gonna

proceed from here as though I don't know the pattern. So what you want to do is

number one shut off the device by holding the power key and select power off

Wait for the device to shut off and once it has we will then hold power

key and volume up. Power, volume up, both of the keys at the same time. And once

the Medion logo can let go. And there we go we're now in recovery mode. So from here you will use volume

keys to navigate. So volume down to go down and up to go up. And you want to

select live data factory reset and confirm it with the power key. And then

select yes again the same way volume down till you have it highlighted and

power key to confirm it. You'll get formatting data at the bottom and last
