Welcome, in front of me is a realme C21Y and today I'll show you how to record screen on
0:11
this phone. So to get started you'll want to pull down your notification panel, expand it and as
0:17
you can see there's a little pencil right here, you want to tap on it and somewhere
0:22
below you should find this little toggle, screen recorder. So once you find it you want to grab it, as you can see it changes the text drag here
0:30
to remove, so basically you want to drag it over to the top, drop it and once you go back
0:35
you can now access it in here. So from here, let's see, if we hold it it does nothing so we can just tap on it and
0:45
this brings us the super limited options right here. So we can select what kind of audio we'll be recording, so we have microphone, device
0:52
and both. I do recommend you if you're planning to use both to use headphones, either wire or wireless
1:00
that doesn't really matter. The reason why I'm recommending this is because when the device is recording the device audio
1:08
it's not recording it through speakers like you hear it, it's recording it internally
1:12
in the system. So then it's also recording microphone additionally and that microphone will be picking up whatever
1:18
is coming through the speaker, so basically it will be recording your system sound twice
1:23
which might create this unwanted echo effect. So I do recommend you to use headphones for that
1:31
And then below that we have show touch gestures or touch inputs on the screen, so once enabled
1:37
whenever you scroll through the screen or do anything on the screen it will show a semi-transparent
1:42
dot on the screen to signify where you have been pressing your finger
1:46
So from here we can select start, this will start a countdown and there we go, it's not recording
1:53
So whatever you will do right now will be recorded. There's a little limitation to it, for instance things like probably Amazon or Prime videos
2:01
or Netflix will not allow you to record it, just because streaming services they don't
2:08
really want you to record TV shows on your own, but anything else you can record
2:14
So once you're done with your recording you can find this little red notification, tap
2:20
to stop, and there we go, it saves your video recording straight to your Photos application
2:26
As you can see it just appeared right here, tap on it
2:34
And there it is. Now as you can see for the Prime videos it looks like it actually allows me to record
2:49
something on the screen at least, when you compare this to Netflix, when you open up
2:53
Netflix even at the logging screen, it is completely a black screen, nothing to it
2:59
So anyway, that is how you record your screen right here, and if you found this video helpful

don't forget to hit like, subscribe, and thanks for watching
