Welcome, in front of me is the Oppo Reno4 and today I'll show you how to enable and
0:11
set up the Do Not Disturb mode. So to get started, let's pull down the notification panel and find the toggle, which for me is
0:20
on the second page, Do Not Disturb right over here with the moon icon
0:23
So you wanna hold it and from here it will take you to the settings
0:28
So on the very top we have the enable now, so just as equivalent as tapping the toggle
0:33
in the notification panel and below that we have the Do Not Disturb mode scheduled time
0:38
So in here we can set a schedule, so basically choose the days of the week that you want
0:42
it to turn on at a specific time and till specific time and it will do it automatically
0:47
from there. Now below that we have silent media when Do Not Disturb mode is on, so this is completely
0:54
optional, if you want to silent media enable it, if you don't, well, keep it off
1:00
Then we have exceptions, so allow notifications, those are exceptions for notifications, so
1:06
if you want to accept things like status banners, you will turn it on and they will be displayed
1:11
Then we have banner at the screen top and lock screen notifications along with notification badges
1:19
So if you don't want them, keep all of these off, if you want them, enable it
1:25
Then below that we have allow messages from and calls from now, they both have the same
1:30
options, so go over only calls. So we have allow from anyone, contact only, stared contacts or no one
1:38
And like I said, both of them have the same options, so choose individually which one
1:43
you want. Now the difference with calls is the fact that calls actually has additional toggle
1:49
right at the bottom, which is ring for repeated callers. And if someone calls you twice within a 3 minute period, they will be able to reach
1:56
you no matter what the setting here is. So as you can see, I should not be receiving calls from anyone, but if I enable this and
2:04
that anyone or no one calls me twice within a 3 minute period, I will know that they're
2:10
calling me. So this is a really good option for emergencies, so you're still aware if someone is trying
2:16
to get a hold of you and reach you. And that's about all we have there for settings, so once all of that is set, I can basically
2:26
go back to the toggle itself and tap on it, turn on
2:31
There was, I believe, also one additional setting there which I missed, which is the..
2:36
Oh, nope, there is no ask every time. So basically, you can toggle it manually by tapping on the toggle, like I just did, or
2:46
if you set a schedule, well, then you don't really need to do anything
2:50
Once you set it up, it automatically becomes enabled, as in the schedule is turned on
2:55
As you can see right here, I have the toggle. When you create one, it automatically becomes enabled
3:00
So if you want to disable, you have to go through here and toggle it off
3:04
Otherwise, once the time comes, it will enable itself. Once it actually enables throughout the schedule, you can still disable it by simply tapping
3:14
on the toggle to turn it off. But that is how you would set it up and turn it on and off
3:21
