Welcome, in front of me is a Cubot X20 and today I'll show you how to transfer files
0:11
from your phone to a storage or vice versa. Now to get started you will want to open up the files application which is right here
0:21
When it asks you for access to storage and stuff like that, grant it
0:26
And from there scroll down and you should see your two storages. So you have the internal storage and the SD card, you can see them by the little icon
0:34
that they have. So let's start off, at least I'll start off with the internal storage which contains
0:39
most of the times all the files. Now as you can see there's a bunch of folders in here but to be honest only a couple of
0:46
them are used for anything. So number one would be the DCIM folder which contains pictures, videos captured with the
0:52
device and so it looks like that's it. Then we have the downloads folder which will obviously contain downloaded files either
1:02
to a web browser or email or whatever the case may be. Anything that has been downloaded will get saved into this folder
1:09
And then if we scroll down we also have the pictures folder which contains screenshots
1:14
which also is where I have my files that I will use as an example for this
1:18
So once you find your files all you need to do is select them and you do so by simply
1:22
holding the file. As you can see it becomes checked like this and then you can quickly tap on additional
1:27
ones to select more than one. Now once you have your files selected click on the three dots and select to either move
1:33
it or copy it. The choice is yours. I will select move and once you choose one of the options you get the pop-up at the bottom
1:40
to select where you want to move them to. So you could change the location, move it somewhere still on your phone to a different
1:47
location instead of the pictures. You could move it to whatever folder you like or you can also move it to a completely different
1:54
storage like the SD card which can be removed which is what I'll be selecting
1:59
Now the SD card has almost the exact same folders as you can see
2:04
We have pictures, movies, music, downloads, DCIM and so on. So as you can see the folders are basically all here but the difference is those folders
2:13
are empty. So if I go into pictures you can see there's nothing in pictures
2:18
So honestly I'll just move it right here straight to the SD card without actually going into
2:23
any kind of folder. So select move here, allow and there we go
2:28
They have been now moved and just to show you those files I'll go to the SD card right
2:32
now and you can see them right at the bottom. Moved just now so there we go
2:40
So that being said this is how you could move over or copy over any kind of file from
2:44
one location to another and if you found this very helpful don't forget to hit like, subscribe
2:49
and thanks for watching
