set up your portable hotspot. So to get started pull down your notifications by swiping down

from the top of your screen and then swipe down once again to extend the list of visible toggles

From here you're looking for portable hotspot or just hotspot toggle which for me it is visible on

the first page right over here but if you can't see it on the same page you might need to swipe

to the left which will reveal additional toggles. In any case once you see it you want to hold it

the first time. This will quickly take you to the settings. Now the reason you want to navigate into

the settings is because by default the device will randomly generate a password for your hotspot

Without navigating in here you have no way of knowing what it is set to and in addition I do

recommend just getting rid of this one. As you can see it's just abominable so get rid of it

Your new password will need to have at least eight characters in length. That can be letters

numbers, it doesn't really matter. As long as it has eight characters in length you can confirm it

and this will automatically save it. Now we have also a couple additional options here like

turn off hotspot automatically which I do recommend keeping on as this will save you a

little bit of your phone's battery when you're done needing your hotspot and just forget about it

And in addition it might, let's see, okay so it doesn't actually use Wi-Fi on here. Some devices

tend to turn off your Wi-Fi when you enable your hotspot but this device doesn't do that so that's

good. So anyway once everything is set here you can just toggle it on by clicking on the switch

right here. It also gives you, once you enable it, a QR code that you can quickly scan with cameras

to connect to it without actually needing to provide a password. So in this case whatever

I have set up the password to just click on the QR code, grab for instance my other device

use the QR scanner, scan this and it will automatically pair up with this network, input

the password and I'm just good to go right away. And obviously you can also toggle on and off
