This is the Infinix Zero Ultra and today we would like to demonstrate how you can
0:06
set up the nearby share function on this device. So first and foremost you gotta turn on the Wi-Fi
0:19
I have accidentally reduced the screen brightness to practically zero, so let me get it back on
0:30
So, let's continue. You gotta turn on the Wi-Fi connection, turn on the mobile data if possible
0:37
and turn on the Bluetooth as well. Next, let's try to find the nearby share function at the control center
0:44
or at least a shortcut for it. If you do not have it, as well myself, or cannot find it
0:55
just open the layout edit tool over here, since it provides you with the shortcut names
1:02
Here it is, the nearby share function. I've actually had it at my controls, shortcuts, buttons, whatever
1:10
So let me quickly expand the menu. Here it is. So, in order to set it up and activate, touch and hold at the shortcut
1:21
By default it is usually turned off. In here tap on the add or verify button, then agree on everything it asks you to
1:29
Then switch on the use nearby share toggle. In here you can switch accounts if you want to
1:35
Rename the device, so I'll just name it Hardisk Infinix
1:45
Then choose the device visibility. In order for this feature to properly work, I highly suggest that you turn it on
1:56
to be in everyone device visibility, so your phone will be visible to anybody who is in range
2:04
The only concern that you need to be aware of is that it obviously possesses some security threats
2:15
so do not keep it at everyone visibility for long, just turn it to be visible for everybody
2:23
Get your task done, whatever you want it to do with nearby share
2:29
and then get it back to either hidden or contact. And finally you can change the data transfer mode, so you can set it to use data
2:40
set it to use the Wi-Fi only, or even just turn off the internet
2:44
which it will presumably use the Bluetooth connection then. So now once the nearby share function is turned on and our device is discoverable
2:55
let me test it out real quick, so I have this little OPPO device
2:59
let me try to send some picture through the nearby share. Now we'll wait until our Infinix smartphone will be discovered, here it is, tap on it
3:14
then accept the file on the receiver send, and as you can see the photo or the image has been successfully transferred between devices
3:25
through the nearby share function, so great success I would assume. Alrighty, that would be it, thank you so much for watching and bye-bye
