Hello everybody, today in front of me I have Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro and in
0:05
this video we would like to demonstrate how you can scan documents using this
0:09
device and well later transfer them or change them to the PDF files
0:19
So first of all you got to open the default camera app, then go for its
0:25
settings, make sure to turn on the SIN optimizer, then tap on the body of this
0:33
option and also make sure that the scan documents and text feature is enabled
0:39
Now we can get back to the camera itself, just frame the document that you would
0:44
like to scan. I'll have this little dummy document in front of me, then you'll see
0:48
this little yellow scan button appear which you want to once aligned with the
0:53
document. Once the document is aligned in the viewfinder, you want to
0:58
tap on this button, wait a little bit, as you can see the document gets scanned. In
1:04
here you can align it however you want, change the, I mean change the alignment
1:07
should I rather say, by moving this little side circles. If it is not
1:13
straight you can straighten it out of course. From here you can either retake
1:17
the scan if you are not satisfied with what you have gotten, save it or extract
1:24
text from it. So now we'll just save it, as you can see the document has been
1:31
successfully saved and I would assume now if we'll go to the files, which is
1:43
the one drive. I gotta find the files at first of course, maybe it has been sent to the one drive
1:59
well not in the pictures, that's for sure. Oh here it is, yeah my bad. So here you
2:06
have the scan that you have just made. From here I just want to check whether
2:15
this is, unfortunately it is currently at the GPG format, so from here you want to
2:25
tap on this three dots over here, tap on the prints, then well tap on this little
2:35
arrow over here, choose to save it, save it as PDF, then tap on this yellow button
2:41
and save. Now we should have this document saved into the files but the
2:48
issue that I'm having is I'm not that sure which, oh here it is, my files
2:53
finally. So here we'll be able to find it in the my files. The only thing, oh here
3:03
it is, alright. But no, no, no, hold on, this is the picture in the PNG format that we took
3:12
The only thing that I'm really curious about is what is the path for it, so
3:20
we'll find its path live. I would assume that here it is in the recent
3:32
files section. As you can see the scan that we have just made in the PDF format
3:40
You can tell that it's PDF since, well, it is stated over here. Alrighty, so sorry
3:47
for this little hold-ups here and there, but still we managed to cover the, well
3:53
topic of scanning and turning the documents into PDF through this phone, so
3:58
thanks for watching and bye-bye
