In front of me is a Motorola Moto Edge 20 Pro and today I will show you how to hard

reset the device through settings. So to get started you'll want to obviously open up settings

From here scroll all the way down to system and then select advanced where you will find

reset options. And under here you have this option called erase all data factory reset

And once you select it, it does give you a message that performing this will remove all

the data from your device and it basically lists each individual thing that it will remove

in categories. So as you can see we have user data, photos, music, downloaded apps, system apps, data

and settings and your accounts. Now some of those things can be basically like you don't need to worry about them because

you can re-download them, re-sign in like in a Google account or app data or downloaded

apps, right? The majority of those you can just simply get back by just logging into something and

re-downloading it. But things like music, photos and user data, there is a chance that you might not be able

to get back that, some of those data. So if there is anything like that that you'd like to keep, do backup your device beforehand

because otherwise you will lose it permanently. Assuming you have already made a backup or you simply don't want to, click on erase all data

If you have some kind of screen lock on your device, pin, pattern, password, you will need

to confirm it. As you can see I do have a pattern here so I'm going to quickly confirm it and this takes

me to the next page where I can confirm it once more by typing erase all data, which

will begin the process. Now this will take a minute, two minutes maybe and once it's completed, the device will reboot

and greet me with an Android setup screen. So I'll be back once that is actually visible
