through recovery mode. Now this process will also remove a screen lock if you have one that you for instance

don't know. And once I lock the device you can see that I do have a pattern set and I'm going to progress

from here as though I don't know it. So to get started obviously let's hold power key and select power off

Now once your phone turns off you want to hold power key and volume up, so both of the

keys at the same time. Once you feel a vibration you want to let go of the keys and from here using volume

keys scroll down in order to select wipe data, confirm it with power key and then wipe all

data so press power key once more and confirm so scroll down and power key

This will get like 5% and there we go it tells us data wiped successfully

So from here power key and then power key once more and power key once more

This will initiate a reboot of the device while also continuing the process in the background

So just be patient it will take a little bit longer for the device to boot back up but once it has we will then be greeted with the Android setup screen
