Welcome! In front of me is an Honor Pad X9 and today I will show you how you can record screen on this device
0:10
So to get started, let's pull down our notifications by swiping down from the top of our screen
0:15
Now we do have kind of two different distinctions. Top of the screen
0:21
also from the top right corner. Otherwise, you would get notification bar as you can see. So anyway, once you pull down your
0:29
your toggles, what I meant to actually refer to, you will have a couple of them visible right here and one of them is screen recorder. Now for some reason
0:37
it's also I believe visible right here, but if you can't see it here
0:42
whatever this is, then you should most certainly see it below here. Anyway, once you see it, you can simply tap on it
0:49
I'm gonna mute the microphone and it automatically starts recording. So whatever you'll do right now will be recorded by the device
0:56
Now there is a little bit of a caveat to it. So if you open up something like for instance Netflix, which is one of the prime
1:03
candidates for this atrocious behavior, you will see that even though we can see content here on the screen right now
1:13
close this, once I stop the recording and go to view it back
1:18
which we can do by going into our photos gallery, it will be visible right at the front
1:24
You can see it's playing back now. Pass through a little bit
1:31
So there is Netflix and what you will see is middle finger
1:39
There was content visible here clearly and you can see me scrolling through it. There was stuff visible
1:45
No longer do you actually see it. Now the reason for that is because Netflix is one of those
1:49
applications that has a little bit more control than it should in my opinion
1:55
So there's this feature on Android which allows applications to block view into them. So this is done for security purposes and you can imagine
2:04
applications like bank ops would benefit from that. So if you find or if you download some malware or whatever and some app is trying to spy on your bank
2:13
information in terms of like what your numbers are, what your pins are and all that stuff. Obviously, this is very beneficial because it just sees a black screen
2:22
But Netflix is not an application that requires this kind of security and there is nothing you can do about it
2:28
Which is the bigger middle finger because such a feature should have an option for me to turn it off
2:33
But there isn't one. So if you ever encounter this kind of recording where it's just fully blocked
2:39
just know that whatever you're trying to record didn't allow you to do so and there is nothing you can do about it
2:44
Now with that being said, hopefully you found this very helpful and informative. If you did, don't forget to smash like, subscribe and thanks for watching
