Following me is an Asus ROG Phone 3 and today I'll show you how to record the screen on
0:15
this phone. So to get started we want to pull down the notification panel and from here look for
0:22
the screen recording toggle which should be somewhere. There it is for me
0:28
So once you find it you want to hold it and this will take us to the settings where we
0:33
can actually change a little bit how it records. So number one we have the resolution
0:37
Now I do advise you to keep it at 1080p. You could technically drop it to 720p if you really want to keep it in size, like reduce
0:47
in size but it's just going to look a little bit worse than 1080p
0:51
Then we have quality. You have medium, high and low. Obviously I'm just going to stick with the highest possible option so for me I'm going
1:00
to go with high. The higher the quality you choose the better the video will actually look like
1:05
I don't have storage location now. There is only internal storage so I'm not sure why it's giving us another pop-up just
1:15
to choose another one because I believe there is no SD card expansion here
1:20
Orientation, you can keep it on auto if you want to or set it to be locked to a specific
1:26
orientation if you want to. Record audio will allow you to record either your microphone or internal audio or none
1:35
Now keep in mind that if you're recording audio through microphone for instance and
1:39
your sound is going through speakers that will also pick up the internal audio in a way
1:44
Just way more degraded quality of it but because microphone will hear it as well it's going
1:50
to record the phone sound as well. Now if you pick the internal audio it will directly record it from the system making
1:58
it higher quality but you won't have microphone. And also you have the none option so if you don't want audio at all you can disable it
2:08
Content before recording, yeah, kind of explanatory, just choose which one you want
2:12
And from here we have start recording immediately when screen recording is turned off
2:22
Not really sure how that would work. Start recording immediately when screen recording is turned on
2:28
That kind of defeats the purpose of this one in this case. Okay
2:32
Then we have a couple additional options right here like show touches, block overlay notifications
2:41
and stop recording incoming calls. So basically when you have some kind of call it will pause the video or stop it completely
2:49
Then block overlay notifications, obviously self-explanatory if you have some notification it just won't show on recording
2:57
And also the show touches, whenever you touch the display to do anything it will show this
3:02
semi-transparent grey dot to signify where your finger was touching on the display
3:08
So once all that is set let's leave it and go back to the toggle and simply tap on it
3:13
There we go. So let's allow, allow, allow. We'll start the countdown and then start recording
3:31
And once you're done tap on stop right here. This will save the video in your gallery application
3:38
So let's look for it. There we go
3:52
And there we go. That's basically it. So that is how you record videos on this phone and if you found this video helpful don't
