Welcome! In front of me I have Suunto 9 Pig and I'm gonna show you how to pair
0:05
this watch with the iPhone. First we need to turn on our watch. You can do it by
0:14
pressing and holding the upper button for a couple of seconds then release it
0:20
and wait until the watch turns on. After the watch turns on we need to download
0:32
and install the Suunto application on our iPhone. So make sure you have the
0:36
internet connection on your iPhone and the Bluetooth enabled. Then open the App
0:41
Store on your iPhone, tap on search, tap on the search bar and type in Suunto
0:48
Then tap search and you should see the Suunto application on the list of
0:54
applications. Tap on it, tap on the get button to download and install it. Once
0:59
the application is done installing you can tap on the open button to open it. In
1:04
the application you might get a couple of pop-ups about the permissions
1:07
The Bluetooth one is required so let's tap on OK and now we can log in into a
1:12
Suunto account and you can use a Facebook account, Apple account or email
1:17
I'm gonna tap on continue with email and here we can enter the email address. If
1:22
you enter the email address that is not connected to the Suunto account it will
1:26
allow you to create a new account and if you enter the email address that is already connected to Suunto account it will allow you to log in. So I'm gonna
1:33
enter my email address. And then tap on continue. As you can see now we can enter the password so give me
1:55
a couple of seconds and then we can tap on log in. Right here we're being asked
2:02
to allow the permission for the location. I'm not sure if it's required
2:06
but I'm pretty sure if you're not gonna allow it you won't be able to connect
2:11
the devices together. So I recommend to allow it but you can also deny it. So tap
2:14
on continue and you can deny it I'm just gonna allow it. And here we can tap
2:18
on continue and allow the permissions for the notifications. So if you want to
2:22
receive the notifications from your iPhone on the watch you need to allow the permission. If you don't care you can deny it. I'm just gonna allow it and now
2:31
we can subscribe to the newsletter but I'm just gonna tap on no thanks. And now
2:37
we should see the home page of the app. The app should start automatically
2:42
looking for the nearby devices as you can see and it found our device but if
2:47
it doesn't look for the devices you can always tap on this icon right here on
2:52
the watch icon to open the pairing window. Oh my bad. Let me go to the app
3:00
Right here tap on the watch icon to open the pairing window or pairing page and
3:06
it should start looking for the device and once it's find what it finds the
3:11
device my bad you can tap on the pair button, enter the key from the watch
3:22
then tap on pair. Again you can allow or deny the permission for the notifications
3:30
Here you can go through the tutorial how to use the app or you can just tap on
3:36
the start button. Oh never mind you can just go through this by swiping left
3:40
then tap on OK and here we can tap on done. And now you should see the device
3:48
page for your Suunto 9 Peak and also you can wait until the watch is done
3:53
syncing with your watch. And once it's done syncing it will say connected and
4:00
your watch is paired with the phone at this point. And now we can close the app
4:06
and that's how you pair this watch with the iPhone. Thank you for watching. If you
