Welcome, in front of me is a Vivo Y33s and today I'll show you how to boot the device
0:14
into safe mode. So to get started you'll want to hold the power key and once you see boot options, hold
0:21
power off. This will bring up this little window right here, reboot to safe mode
0:27
Do you want to reboot into safe mode, this will disable all third party applications
0:31
that you have installed. They will be restored when you reboot again
0:35
So let's select OK and this will initiate that reboot. Now what it means with that message is in this mode only the existing applications that
0:44
you didn't install, the ones that came with the device will function normally
0:50
Anything that you actually have installed yourself will not. So that is some kind of application that you have installed onto the device was causing
0:57
you problems, it cannot do that in safe mode. So from there you can basically troubleshoot your device
1:04
Now let's wait for it to actually boot up. OK, there we go
1:14
As you can see it just booted up and we have the safe mode right here just to let us know
1:18
that we are right now in this mode. The widgets don't work and a couple applications as you can see don't work either, so we have
1:26
booking, Facebook and TikTok. You can differentiate those applications because they became monochrome now
1:32
As you can see they are just completely like grey slash white
1:36
So all these applications that have this kind of color scheme on them will not be able to run at all
1:41
And also I do have to give Vivo props. Thanks for blocking Facebook
1:47
Some phones apparently think that Facebook is a native application to Android which I
1:52
completely consider as an absolute bullcrap. Because in this case even if you want to, I don't know, go into safe mode and have Facebook
2:00
not spy on you, that doesn't work. Because if an app can run, or if it's colored, it can run
2:08
And it's most certainly running in the background and gathering data. So yeah, props for actually disabling it right here
2:15
Now anyway, to leave this mode all you need to do is hold the power key and simply select
2:20
restart this time around which will take you back to normal mode
2:37
And there we go. So if you found this video helpful, don't forget to hit like, subscribe and thanks for watching
