Welcome, I'm Filomena Zajula from M1 Armor X5 and today I'll show you how to transfer
0:11
files from your device to an SD card or vice versa. So to get started, let's open up the File Explorer
0:19
So right here it's called Files, tap on it
0:30
And then scroll down and you should see both of your storages. That'd be your internal, which is the device itself, and below that is the card
0:39
Now if you don't see any kind of storage right there, tap on that three dots and where I
0:42
have Show Storage Devices, or Hide Storage Devices, you'd see Show Storage Devices
0:50
So tap on that and then you'll see them below. So I'm gonna start off by going into the Internal Storage, because that's usually where most
0:59
of the folders are, and give you a brief overview where you can find what
1:06
So DCIM folder will contain photos, videos captured with the device itself
1:12
Downloads will contain any file that you've downloaded, either that be through web browser
1:17
email, stuff like that, all will be in here. Then Music, Movies, Notifications, usually those are folders that you would place something
1:24
yourself in there, so you most likely know that it's in there
1:28
Then there's Pictures below that, and in here you have Screenshots. And that's about it
1:36
So I'm gonna look for my files, which I believe they are right over here, there we go
1:41
And once you find your files, what you wanna do is hold first one, it gets selected as
1:48
you can see, and then you can tap on additional ones if you want to select more
1:52
Now if you only want one, then just keep it at one, if you want more, like I said, select it
1:59
If you have entire folder full of photos, for instance, as an example, you can select
2:04
them all by tapping right here, and choosing Select All, or by simply going back and selecting
2:16
the entire folder. And that will include everything that is inside of it
2:22
For me it's the four photos. Whichever way you do it, it's completely up to you, but once you have selected whatever
2:29
it is that you want to select, tap on three dots and choose either Copy or Move
2:35
Copy will create additional set of the same files, duplicating them basically and moving
2:39
the new ones to, well, your desired location, while Move will completely remove them from
2:43
where they are right now and move them to the new location. So select whichever one suits your need, I'm gonna go with Move
2:50
And once you tap on one of the options, it will bring up the window on the bottom, and
2:55
from here you wanna choose where you want to move it to. So you could move it somewhere still on your phone, in a different folder, or you can choose
3:04
the SD card, like I will, and move them to a completely new location
3:09
And once you tap on one of the locations, you'll be in that location, and from here
3:14
you can either navigate to existing folders by tapping on them, or create your own new
3:19
folder if you wish to. I'm not gonna create a new folder, I'm just gonna move it right over here, so Move here
3:29
Allow, and you can see it begins, four files moved, and now the folder is empty
3:38
And if I go back to the SD card, you will see that now it has a Camera folder, with
3:46
the four photos that were previously in it. So that is how you remove any kind of file, and if you found this video helpful, don't
