Hi everyone, in front of me I've got Motorola Moto X40 and let me show you how to block a number on this device

So basically we've got two different ways to do that. For example by using the contact list and kind of dialer settings

Of course I'll show you both. So let's start with the contact list

Find the contact you'd like to unblock and tap on it. Then tap on the three dots icon here and tap on block numbers

As you can see your device will ask you if you really want to block this number because you

will no longer receive any incoming calls or text messages from it

I don't want to report it as a spam and simply tap on block. Here we've got this characteristic icon

It is notified here which simply means that this number has been blocked

Of course you can unblock it just the same way but let me leave it like this

We will check if it will appear on the blacklist. So the second way of blocking a number requires entering the settings or the options in the

dialer and it doesn't really matter basically if you will be on the contacts, recents or the

favorites. Just tap on the three dots icon here and tap on the settings

As you can see here we've got the section blocked numbers so let's enter. And here we've got our blacklist and one of those numbers is the one we just blocked from

our contacts. And here we've got also the option add a number so we can enter it manually

We do not have to have the number saved on the on our contacts. We can just enter it manually or simply paste it

Just tap on block and as you can see it will immediately appear also here

What is more we've got this option unknown which simply means that your device will be

allowed to block calls from all unidentified callers. So of course it's up to you whether you want to turn it on or off
