Welcome and following me is a Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and today I will show you how to import contacts
0:10
from the SIM card to the phone. Now once you plug in the SIM card you will find basically all your
0:17
contacts right here and you can always use them but if you want to modify them to add let's say
0:22
like a phone number or another number like a photo and additional settings or options for
0:29
instance like date of birth or something like that if you want to remember that you actually
0:33
want to be able to so to do it you need to basically put them on the phone and to do it
0:38
you want to go into the contacts up now keep in mind I mean this standalone contacts up from the
0:43
phone itself even though we have contacts you don't really have the option that we need so
0:48
let's go to contacts and disregard the fact that there is basically nothing here on the top on the
0:54
bars go into the settings and from that down there on the bottom of the list you will find
0:59
import and you have two options import from VCF file or SIM card now you can always create a VCF
1:06
file say if you have contacts on a different device by using an app or just again contacts
1:12
itself can do that too but I'm just gonna select SIM card because that's where my contacts are
1:17
and then you get the list of all the contacts that are located on the SIM card so from here
1:23
you can deselect ones if you don't want to for instance I'm just gonna copy the totally real
1:27
number and once satisfied with whatever you have selected you can press the check mark right here
1:32
and boom the total real real phone number is now in our contacts so you will see now two of them
1:40
because one is on the SIM card and the other one is on the phone but the difference is one is
1:46
you can edit it and add photo to it while the other one doesn't have that option so that is
1:52
how you do it and if you found this video helpful don't forget to Like subscribe and thanks for watching
