you how you can hard reset this device through recovery mode. Now this will also allow you to get rid of screen locks if you have one that you

just get started and the one thing that we will need for this is a cable so we can plug in our phone to the computer. It's one of the downsides of Samsung it

do not have a Google or Samsung account signed in on this device yet or as of

now. So this phone only has a screen lock as a protection method. Anyway let's plug

first problem when trying to turn off the device which we need to do just to

what we're gonna do is we're gonna hold power key and volume down. And once the

screen turns off you want to then switch to power key and volume up. And by

holding power and volume down we just forcibly reboot the device. It's like a

go figure. Secure as heck. So anyway now one thing to add in here. When holding

these two keys power key and volume down I recommend interacting with the screen just so it won't timeout. This will give you just a knowledge on when the phone

actually turns off. So the phone if you're interacting on the screen it

won't timeout like I just did. So it will only go black when the phone turns off

At that point you want to switch from volume down to volume up. So now to do

that power volume down. It turned off. So power key and volume up now. You will see
