Welcome. In front of me is a Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra and today I will show you how you can hard reset this phone through settings

To get started you want to open up your settings. From here we're gonna scroll all the way down to System

I'm gonna select Reset Options and then choose Erase All Data Factory Reset

This will give us a quick message letting us know that this process removes things like your Google Account, System Updates, Settings, Downloaded Apps, Music Photos and other User Data

Now to quickly go into this, the only thing that you should really worry about is the Music Photos and User Data

The top options are things that you can usually regain without much of a problem like applications, you can re-download them from the Play Store

Same goes for your Google Accounts, you can just re-sign into them and System and Updates are automatically generated when you change the settings or just choose them to fit your exact needs

While Music Photos and User Data, if it's being kept locally on the device, obviously will be lost

If it's kept on the cloud you also don't need to worry about that either. And below that we also have a Google Account signed in, so this will be the Google Account that it will be signed out of

Anyway, I'm going to select Erase All Data right here because I'm not planning to backup anything, but obviously if you want to, do make a copy of it before you begin

Now if you have some kind of screen lock you will need to confirm it right here. And I'm going to select Erase All Data once again, which will begin Factory Resetting our device

Now this process will take about a minute to finish up and once it's completed it will be presented with Android Setup Screen
