show you how we can hard reset this device through settings. So to get started

obviously let's open up our settings and then navigate all the way down to system

choose reset options and then select erase all data, factory reset and as you

can see it gives us a message right here letting us know what it will remove so

we have things like Google Accounts, system update and settings, downloaded apps

and then actual things that matter like music, photos and user data. Now the

reason those three things matter is because those are the three things that you can actually keep locally on your phone storage. So if you want to keep

some of those things maybe music, photos, documents stuff like that then do make a

backup copy of it before you begin otherwise you will lose it permanently
